Exceptional Tour Service
We used the Shaka app as our guide on the road to Hana tour in Maui. Best decision we made. Shaka made the journey soo easy with the tips and tricks. We had no service through the majority of the drive and it still worked great. We will definitely be looking for Shaka guides everywhere we go after this.

This tour felt so personal and the guide was so helpful and I’m glad it’s a real person and not an AI robot. I also gained a lot deeper of an understanding of Hawaiian culture and its history. I’m so excited to look into more Shaka tours in the future and recommend it to friends!

A Must for “The Road to Hana”
I felt pretty well planned and prepared for the Road to Hana, knew what stops and where, where food and bathroom stops were, etc. but we found this app 2 days before our drive, and the app made me realize just how underprepared I was. It’s soooo helpful: advance warnings about turns, food, restrooms, what is a must see and what may be skippable. Our family loved it. Especially the history lessons on the drive back. My Road to Hana trip truly felt like someone else took over all the planning and directions, leaving me to relax and enjoy. Now having experienced it, I would have gladly paid $50-100 for it!
My only recommendation for an edit is smoother audio transitions between songs, historical commentary and directions. Other than that, you all did incredible work with this. Thank you for making our trip amazing!

Great tour guide!
This was a wonderful guide up the mountain!! We had time slots for black sand beach to meet so we had to skip spots but tried to stop on the way down and couldn't figure out how to reverse the directions for the stops since the way down was more history stories. Overall very happy with this guide, this saved us with no cell service!

Great Road Trip Companion
We did the loop and enjoyed having the guide tied to our GPS. We learned so much about the island and feel like we didn’t miss a thing on our trip!

Shaka Guide was extremely helpful in planning our stops, timing for the overall trip and the gps activated information is great for turns, stops, and just information about landmarks. I highly recommend their tour guide app!

This app was a God send. Excellent heads up of every viewpoint, stop, site description, etc.. I paid the $20 for the app and my car enjoyed every minute, my brother did not and ended up spending over $100 on admissions to places he would’ve rather skipped. The commentary, music, and history were all excellent.

Love this tour guide, he makes it really fun and adds some history of the native Hawaiian’s in it, well done, the only thing is there should be more starting points for the west Maui coastal tour

The best part about the Shaka Guide app is that it tells you exactly which stops to make and which ones to skip so you can get back to your starting point before sunset. Great history and stories on the way down the mountain is like listening to a podcast. And local music is amazing. I cannot survive the road to Hana without Shaka Guide apps. kudos to Shaka Guide team

WOW! Wowowow… Used for the Road to Hana today. It was like the guide was in my car. He predicted rain literally the moment it started raining… he mentioned the 11:45am test tsunami alarm 30 seconds after I heard it in person… the history lesson on the way down the mountain is like listening to a podcast… the music is amazing. I can tell how much effort went into this. MAHALO 🤙
