Usable if it connected to AUM or Audiobus
Some nice shaker sounds but without connectivity it’s not much use to me. If it was, I would consider buying the extra shaker sounds.
Great and simple
Just a great simple app. Has loop function and BPM plus tap tempo. All the sounds are good. I’d love to see a set list feature to save or cue up multiple songs in a row.

It’s about the same size as your phone anyway, and it will actually respond properly to your hand motion, unlike this app.

This app works fine. I added $1.99, and received all the shakers, and all the headings tap shake loop. I love being able to program the rhythm and the speed. Any shaker sounds really good. I will use this in my recordings. And possibly live, playing out.

It works on the iPad Pro.That is what I use in my gigs. However, the app emits a horrible tone with shaker when using Bluetooth. Sounds like a low toned feedback.

Plain and simple it doesn’t work.
Great little app, but could be greater..
This app is nicely thought out and laid out, and is pretty usable right out of the box. Just two little additions could make it brilliant though:
1. Don’t stop the shaker playing while you are tapping in Loop mode. It would be good for the tempo to change dynamically while you tap, rather than stopping as soon as you hit your first tap, then needing the Play button to be pressed afterwards. Lots of App Store metronomes work like this.
2. Make better use of the planes of the iPhone’s accelerometer. Currently the app only seems to play the shaker sound if you hold the phone flat in the palm of your hand and move it up and down. I would like to hold the phone edgeways while shaking up and down or forwards/backwards. If it’s hard for the program to look at all planes simultaneously, then have a Settings dialogue that allows you to choose “X”, “Y” or “Z” (or whatever iOS likes to call them).

Doesn’t work on iPhone 7 running latest versions of iOS.
Not for musicians
Yeah it kinda makes sound when u shake it. But it’s not intuitive, only at a certain angle or gesture will shake it. And there’s only 1 pattern I can play. It’s fine for non-musicians to get excited with. But it’s not a useful tool for musicians.
Nevertheless it is a great concept. Yes I mean it when I say ‘great’. Hope u guys can optimize for musicians. I will rate better. Promise 😊

Not Great But Still The Best
So here's the deal... This app hasn't been updated in 2+ years. It's difficult at first to figure out how exactly to shake the phone to correctly register the bpm you are playing. The other playing options don't work well for me. Even though all of this is still true today, this app is the best of its kind. Unfortunately there just isn't a huge market for shaker apps I guess. What a shame.

You only get a lame cylindrical wooden shaker and have to "unlock" the other basic shakers for $2.99 CDN. Very deceiving.

Bait & Switch
This app's description leads you to believe that you are about to download lots of "shakers" that you can use right-away. But, when downloaded, only one shaker is available in each of the categories of Shake/Tap/Loop, and suddenly you're asked if you want to pay another $1.99 to "Unlock All Shakers". This was not made clear in the app's advertisement. I might not have minded paying the extra $, but this seemed deceptive. Lost trust. What if I pay the extra $1.99 only to learn I'll have to pay more than that for something else the app promised?
