Board Meetings
Been ordering half chicken plates from Shane’s for several years for board meetings call today to get 11 plates. They said I would need to call a couple days ahead of time. Oh well I’ll find somewhere else to buy chicken.
Mmmm ribs
Shane’s baby backwards are some of the best stuff that I’ve ever tried. These are delicious. Five stars.
Not helpful at all
I can order my food but not let them know when they messed things up. I can’t give feedback. I can not contact them in anyway and their website has a flaw and it won’t go through either.
Points lost
Points on old app didn’t carry over. Lost points. Done with Shane’s.
New App
I am not a fan of the new app. The previous app was much better as to user interface, rewards, coupons, specials, and everything. We’ve not purchased Shane since the new app released.

Quality, quantity, and service has gone down terribly
Reward Points
Came in and placed 2 different orders because I forgot something. Saw the reward system and asked the cashier to sign me up after I generously left a tip. I asked her if I was aloud to go back into the app and add my receipt for the previous order and she said yes but there is nowhere on the app to add previous orders.

Issues
With the new app not able to locate where to submit a receipt. Not good !!!

This is the worst ribs I have ever eaten. So tough hardly no meat on the bones. $40 dollars down the drain.

I was assured many times my reward points would roll into the new app version seamlessly. I had several thousand. They did not ! 😠

I went through the trouble of placing an order only to get to the payment potion, and there was no keyboard and the app wouldn’t scan the card like they say it will.
Shane’s is a Shame
Once the food was delicious and portions were worth the cost Our last couple visit have been disappointing. For example the BQ pork plate only had about 1/4 lb of pork instead of 1/2 The BBQ beans were loaded with large pieces of onion. Brunswick stew was like the liquid from the BbQ beans without the usual stew. Not sure we will be going back

Amazing Customer Service
Mr. Gary Peters and his team are an amazing team. Our chapter of PTK recently did a percentage night with the Athens location and we were so very pleased with the communication and cooperation that Mr. Peters and his employees provided our organization and our school as a whole. Staff and students are excited to have a local restaurant who cares about them and wants to support Athens Technical college. so thank you Mr. Peters and you team for everything! We can’t wait to continue to build our partnership and expand the growing community.
