About

Share a password, a file or a set of credentials without leaving it sitting in a chat, an inbox or someone's screenshots. SharePass turns what you need to send into an encrypted link that expires. You choose how long it lives, how many times it can be opened, and who gets in. Once it is opened — or once it expires — it is destroyed. WHAT YOU CAN SEND • Passwords, messages and credentials • Files, up to 21 MB • QR codes and structured data HOW YOU CONTROL IT • Expiry: minutes, days, or a date of your choosing • One-time links that disappear after a single view • A PIN, an email check or a security key before the content is shown • Restrict access to certain IP addresses • Lock a link yourself at any time, from your phone • See when each of your secrets was opened ASK FOR A SECRET, TOO Send an envelope and someone fills it in for you — a password, a file, credentials — from their browser, without installing anything or creating an account. You get a notification and approve it from your phone. THE SHAREPASS KEYBOARD Create a secret and paste its link inside the conversation you are already having. The keyboard works in any app, so you never have to switch to SharePass and back. BUILT SO WE CANNOT READ YOUR SECRETS Everything is encrypted on your device before it leaves. The key that opens a secret travels in the link itself and never reaches our servers, which means SharePass — and anyone at SharePass — cannot see what you sent. Every request passes through an eight-step security funnel (patent pending) before any content is released. FOR TEAMS Templates and labels keep the settings your team agreed on one tap away. Organisations get shared templates, labels and security keys, user management and access policies. WORKS WHERE YOU DO Web app, browser extension, iPhone, iPad and the keyboard. Sign in with Google or Apple, or with your company's own SharePass instance. SharePass Pty Ltd, Melbourne, Australia. sharepass.com

What's New in SharePass

2.0.0

September 26, 2026

SharePass 2.0 is a new app, rebuilt from the ground up. • A SharePass keyboard. Create a secret and paste its link without leaving the conversation you're in — no switching apps, no copying between screens. • Send files. Up to 21 MB, encrypted on your device before they leave it. • Ask someone for a secret. Send an envelope and they fill it in — a password, a file, credentials — without needing a SharePass account. • Approve from your phone. Get a notification when someone opens an envelope you sent, and approve it with a tap. • Decide who gets in. Protect a secret with a PIN, an email check or a security key, and set when it expires, how many times it can be opened, and from which addresses. • Templates and labels. Save the settings your team agreed on and reuse them in one tap. • Sign in your way. Google, Apple, or your company's own SharePass instance. • A faster, clearer interface, at home in dark mode.
