App is getting error

After the latest update app is getting error and even it’s not open at all. Need your attention to fix this issue soon. When ever I fuel I’m asking someone’s help and logging. It doesn’t look good to ask. Other than this your rewards and app is great 👍

Error
After the recent update it’s getting error even app is not at all opening. Pls fix it asap.. otherwise than this it’s awesome and rewards are nice but some of your employees doesn’t know or without knowing the details they are saying NO! Give them some training and it will help you people to be on the top forever. Thanks 😊

Quite easy to use app
App is very easy to use, but because of recent updates it is getting logout automatically. Every time when you open the app you need to log in again. Also please integrate payment methods into the app for India region.
Not a user friendly or good app
Points keep expiring so you can't save them up. And when I want to redeem the people keep saying next time it doesn't work. Sorta pathetic. The only good thing is the shell v- power ₹5-10 discount for fueling.
Shell points - Not really useful
I had 3500 points accumulated from past 1 year. Here is why it’s very difficult to utilise these points:
1. Not all the products are eligible to purchase via shell points.
2. Even if they are eligible you can only purchase with full points. Purchasing item with partial points and amount is not allowed.
3. You can only purchase 3 items max in a day using shell points.
4. Not all Shell stores allow you to purchase products using shell points.
After passing through all these hurdles finally I was only able to purchase 2 lays and 3 Doritos packs with shell points.

Not able to login
I am not able to login to the shell Asia app since a month. After entering phone number, it goes to the OTP page and quickly goes to an error screen. OTP is not delivered either.
The pump guys take mobile number and apparently updates my account. They give the promised discount and hence no major issues as of now due to the App issue.
It’s irritating nevertheless..

Disappointing Customer Support Experience
Looks good on the app, but reality is frustrating.
The Shell app shows rewards and benefits that make you trust the system, but when you actually try to use them, they don’t work at the station. I did what any regular customer would do—emailed support, called customer care, shared screen recordings, and even visited the station. Still, there was no clear response, and the ticket was closed without solving the issue. It’s disappointing when you follow the process honestly and are left unheard. Many users will relate to this experience.

Unable to create account
I am trying to create an account and every time after entering mobile number, otp screen comes and then suddenly I get an error message on the screen that says “Whoops, something went wrong”. Not a good experience!
Cheated
I was cheated by a particular shell petrol pump so i wrote a mail to shell india , so they asked me whether to share my details so i clearly requested not to share my personal data but they are so ignorant and careless shared my all information with that petrol pump and they started to harrass me and shell intentionally put my life in danger so nvr trust shell lets use indian oil or any desi companies oil

Have been using this app for a while now, recently updateed the app and the new UI is so catchy and the feel of swipe is smooth, enjoying it 👏🏻
Humiliated and cheated by shell
I have been a shel customer since day 1 I purchased my suv. More than 1.4 years, I have been filling up Petrol. Already I did refilled 300+ litres of petrol. When I enquired about oil change , I supposed to get 20% discount from the shell products. But to all, we surprised seeing, all of a sudden my data is gone and the shell people are telling I have no data reg 300L Of Petrol or any offers with the app. Where are my offers ? When I am Eligible to get the 20% discount ( it’s my offer that shell is providing for my regular refuels) why is that being hidden in my app? Why it is not showing any offers in my app? Why are you cheating customers ? This is totally absurd! And looting the customers in the name of offers and then hiding the offers. Simple Question: 1. There is no way to check how much fuel I filled up in shell (either in shop Or app) purpose fully. Such a cheap tricks. 2. When I crossed 300L of file refill, why didn’t I get the 20% offer as other customers as it’s common to all( as per the shop confirmations). I need response for these two Before going out of shell.3. And please don’t say to contact mail id or that two landline numbers ( which are of no use) having lack Of knowledge and they won’t help customers as they are not real customer cares)
4. Why don’t you cheat EU, US, Mediterranean or Pacific countries. Are Indians, looks Like fool to you? If you think so, Mr Shell Team- you will have to face a scenario to pack your bags to America again From India

Logs me out every time
I have to sign in every time I open the app. While the point system is nice, it is annoying to login each time I open the app.

No default sign in
Each time I have to sign in - enter mobile number, obtain Otp, enter Otp to add my points after each fuel filling. It is not user friendly, because I am forced to multitask - sign in , pay - by using debit/credit card, supervise the refuel - all at the same time. Wish it was one-time sign in for that mobile number

Should stay logged In
Everytime, I had to login. That's really annoying. Once logged in, it should have stayed logged in since this isn't a web portal, it would make sense to retain the session unless the user intends to logout. Everything else is good.
Patrol pump in Sus Gaon , Pune
I was using shell but may be yesterday I said a good by their services (till they resolve the issue)
1. The patrol pump never operates all filling points no matter how much the queue is.
2. They take people for filling outside the queue if they know them, other people in look fool to them. Yesterday same incident happened and when I asked why , the started shouting in local tong , so I filed a complaint on stations complaint book. Their attitude was “chal kar diya complaint…” so I am not sure what will they do with the complaint.
That’s reason I am writing here as well.

This App is an Scam
They make extra effort to make you install the app but dont allow you to redeem the points. They ask you to go to their city office to redeem points. Also the process to add the points after filling petrol is time consuming as they ask you to go inside the store, and then trick you to crosssell.

No way to register!
Every time I fill up my tank, the executive used to ask me to register. So I thought of doing that.
I download the app, click on register and give my phone number for it to say “Whoops! Sorry about this, seems like something went wrong”. If the app is not meant to be used, remove it from AppStore and do not advertise please!

Not getting login OTP
The OTP functionality doesn’t work. Though the app update reminder sms come.
Have been using the app for long time now and have accumulated lot of points. Just when the time to use them came the OTP based login stopped working. Why not give ppl more options to login? Say email??
The other major problem is to reach to customer support specific to app, there is no to proceed beyond the fact that OTP sms hasn’t come!

Terrible and useless app
I have been a loyal customer and have always admired the service I used to get at Shell. Nowadays, more often then ever I have been disappointed with executives at Shell due to their rude behaviour.
Coming to the app, it’s a botched up app beyond redemption. And don’t even get started with the offers, redemptions and customer delight.
They don’t even care anymore about customers.
