Number two crappiest app I’ve ever used after Benjamin Moore
Color visualization doesn’t work AT ALL. It stole my data and for nothing. It didn’t even paint to walls on my house.
Useful but not very good
Uploaded photo of exterior doorway; the tool can’t distinguish between the door, the side lights, and the wall. Seems to be no “undo” option.
Locks up
The app locked up and I couldn’t do anything with it after uploading a photo
Does not work
Spent at least two hours trying to get this app to visualize paint colors on the exterior of my house. Colors are not realistic, and it really struggles to select body from trim from garage door to front door on an uploaded photo. Useless.
Terrible
Very clunky to use difficult to switch colors can have room with different color ceilings or trim. Frustrating.
Maintenance Needed
I have been using the app for years. The app was 5 stars for years. Was easy to explore paint colors with upload photos. Now it is impossible to pick areas of uploaded photos to visualize colors. Can’t even visualize colors on provided photos. Hopefully this can be fixed really soon.
Can’t recommend for planning your space
Wanted to use the app to find recommendations on how to paint the house. I was shocked by the recommendations as they turned my house into a Simpsons house with whacky yellow/gold colours or bright pink, and eggplant purple. Straight recommendations that you’d see from a house that hasn’t been updated since the early 2000’s. I can’t recommend this app if you’re planning your space.

Slow and keeps crashing
Need I say more? It keeps crashing. Pathetic app!
Not helpful for just trim on my mostly brick house
I have a mostly brick house with trim and small pieces of siding that I would like to get painted. But no matter what category I select for paint title, be it trim, garage doors, main body. It paints the whole house, including the brick that color which is not helpful for me to decide what colors would look best against my brick.

Convenient
I’m so grateful to be able to order samples without having to go to a store!
Useless
I tried it to show color options for my garage door with a photo I uploaded. No matter what part of the home I select, it colors the body of the house.
I used their online desktop version a few years ago and with worked well where you could manually select the parts to be painted.
I suppose AI took over aka Auto Incorrect.

Paint everything the entire room, the same color
Even though the app recognized that there was furniture in floor, it’s still painted the entire room, including the furniture and the floor the color of the recommendation. It’s pretty bad.
Doesn’t work with 1Password
I’m sure it’s a great app but I’ve spent 20 minutes trying to log in using 1Password and am giving up. Using 1Password within the app yields a blank white page and I literally can’t paste into the password box. Completely exasperating!

Poor visualizer, the app software can’t recognize a simple photo of a front door with white trim and screen door opening and the vinyl siding. Don’t waste your time, just use Google Gemini, you will waste your time with this app.
Easy to use
I liked using the helpful picture upload and color combo but it doesn’t allow you to color certain items and not others.
Great Idea, Tough Execution
While this is a very interesting concept. I found it much easier to work with ChatGPT or other AI driven programs to actually customize the colors on the picture of my house.
Always Crashes
I uploaded an image then the app crashed, opened it and it froze. Every time I open it it freezes.

Doesn’t work
The app freezes. I can’t see any color choices. I can’t upload a photo of the room. I can’t do anything. It freezes as soon as the app opens.
Many features don’t work
I love the idea of the app, but there are many things it does poorly. It won’t let me click on the colors to choose them, and crashes after I touch those color swatches.
In the visualizer, it eliminates the top 20% of the photo.
In the paint feature, it will only show 10% of the row of your favorite colors.
Is the app only made for a certain type of phone?

Limited options
I like to paint rooms two different colors. It only lets you see one color at a time and it doesn’t let you paint the ceiling (despite both of those things being very common)
Basically made the app useless for me
I also wasn’t a fan of the UI in general, it isn’t very user-friendly. Based on other reviews/ I’m not the only one
I gave it 2 stars because it does do a good job if you want a white ceiling and otherwise all one color (once you figure out how to do it)
