Limited options
I like to paint rooms two different colors. It only lets you see one color at a time and it doesn’t let you paint the ceiling (despite both of those things being very common)
Basically made the app useless for me
I also wasn’t a fan of the UI in general, it isn’t very user-friendly. Based on other reviews/ I’m not the only one
I gave it 2 stars because it does do a good job if you want a white ceiling and otherwise all one color (once you figure out how to do it)

OK on phone, but no good on iPad
This works OK on my phone, once you play around a while. Some instructions would have ben nice. But on the iPad it just doesn’t work. And I don’t mean how it is still oriented for a phone size. I mean it freezes and you can’t scroll to pick your saved colors at all.
How does this app have good reviews?
There’s literally no options to change the color of the walls in the photo. You save the color and that’s it. There’s zero help or options to actually see the color on the wall

Does not do a good color matching job using camera.

The site recommends wall color does not give you a choice to see color you selected in the space you want
Color variation
App works ok, but you need to have an option that allows user to set their preferences. Such as darker or lighter colors. This way it only shows those shades. I work overnights and need darker shades for sleeping. So I had to manually choose darker colors rather than using color recommendations because it always showed lighter color options which would affect my sleep

Doesn’t work
Every time I try and upload a photo I get the “that didn’t work. Sorry we are having trouble processing…”. The only reason I downloaded app was to use the photo edit option.
Lost a sale
This app is horrible. Can’t save photos in app, can’t highlight accessories in photos, navigation is cludgy. Does not work on iPad at all for some reason. Color apply is junk. Saving photos to phone from app omits the actual color info for back ref. Going with another vendor just because of how bad the is is

Clunky clunky clunky
The actual augmented reality function is buried through add, other ancillary tasks, email resets, pro vs consumer version. A total pain to try and use plus you get 1 pic at a time. Trash and a waste of time compared to others. Don’t waste your time w this app.
Awesome app
This app was very instrumental in helping us choose our colours for the exterior of our house. Especially the Visualize part of the app. We think it’s a great tool!
Visualizer doesn’t work
I was able to maybe load one picture after 20 minutes of trying the app out. Just trying to get a visual of what a living room will look like with a suggested color. I am going to try another app since it won’t let me upload any other pics.
Color heaven!
Color expert is so fun to use! Sherwin Williams has so many color options, and it’s such a nice experience to scroll through and use the different tools throughout to app to search for colors and toggle between shades to find your perfect fit.
When will the exterior visualizer be available?
This is the only reason I downloaded the app and it’s not supported.
Frustrating! No Exterior Visualizer, Won't Use Again
It’s frustrating that the paint visualizer only works for interiors. Don’t waste time like I did searching for exterior color ideas. Goodbye Sherwin Williams. I can’t see your paint on the outside of my house.
Not helpful at all
Does not color match. App goes around in circle with no help other than to pick new paint. Not helpful to my needs.
Bug keeps reversing my selections
When narrowing down selections, I use my favorites list and then “unfavorite” or deselect the colors as I eliminate them from contention. There is some sort of bug in the app, and every time I clean up the favorites section, after only a few minutes or perhaps the next time I open the app, suddenly it has restored every color I ever added to the favorites page. I’ve tried clearing it out more than once but it always reverts. I even tried deselecting them in the color search results as opposed to the “Favorites” section but nothing works. Extremely frustrating as choosing paint colors is already an overwhelming and stressful process. I’ve resorted to adding color chip samples to my cart to function as my “favorites” list now.

Color Tool is not helpful anymore.
I am very disappointed and frustrated with the updated Color Tool. This app used to allow taking a picture of a single object and get color recommendations. Now I have to take a picture of the entire room, or the photo will not upload. If I am trying to remodel my bedroom and don’t want color recommendations based on what is in there now then this app is useless to individuals in my situation.

Could be better
The visualizer tool, seems to never work. It takes a long time to upload a photo then it times out or it doesn’t upload a photo at all. I’m spending a lot of time just to get the app to work and when it does I feel lucky.
Won’t Upload Photos
I specifically downloaded this app to try exterior colors on my home as that will be a color I’m stuck with for a long time. It won’t upload any photos. ChatGPT did a better job and gave suggested color schemes.
