Removed After Confirmed Shift Maybe because I’m black!
I scheduled a shift in Temple, Texas, accepted it, and confirmed it. I was then removed from the shift without any explanation. This is extremely concerning and makes me question why I was removed after already being accepted and confirmed.
Without a legitimate explanation, I’m left wondering whether discrimination, including the color of my skin, played a role in this decision. It is very disappointing to feel that workers may be picked and chosen even after shifts have already been confirmed.
I am requesting a clear explanation for why I was removed from this shift, who made the decision, and what policy allows a confirmed worker to be removed without being given a reason. I would also like this incident documented and reviewed.

I lost my job and i’ve been having a hard time to finding work. Shiftsmart has been keeping me up float.
Not been paid
I worked an hour and half long midday clean shift on 9/11/26 I completed all tasks even took the pictures to prove I had completed all tasks I wait and wait for a few hours then I reach out to Shiftsmart about why I hadn’t been paid and they told me there was a problem with something having to do with the tasks / pictures and it was under review I am still waiting for the funds which have yet to be released 24hours later Shiftsmart needs to either fix their app and the photo uploaded or something because I like most other people do not/will work for free
