This app quite literally does not work. First I couldn’t make an account and after fighting with it I finally was able to make one. Once inside it was super buggy and after all that work there wasn’t any jobs. Not even in the big cities near me. The closest ones it was showing me were a whole state over and no I am not THAT close to the border. Waste of time.

Cannot grab a hold of any human customer service representative or support. I drove all the way, spent over 40 minutes at the store but could not find the partner for my orientation or get any help. I’m not sure if I’ll get paid when I spent over a hour of my time in frustrated endeavor.
It’s nice when the app works. Flexible time of your choice and you do get paid. Hence the 2 star review instead of 1.

This App really help me and I was in a bad bind and boy did This App come Thur Absolutely Love Shiftsmart!!!
Huge Lack of Communication
The support team is a joke! They don’t have a phone number for you to call anyone if you have an issue on shift. You have to send an email that is answered by an AI bot and then wait for an actual person to email you back. Hope you don’t have any issues with receiving payment bc they sure don’t work hard to ensure you receive it. I’ve been told for two months now that they were escalating a payment issue I had from 5/20/26 and giving it high priority yet here we are two months later and they have yet to pay me the $25.50 they still owe me from 5/20 despite me providing all the required picture AND telling them that the store mgr said she would vouch that I was there for the entire shift. I guess it was “too difficult” for them to pick up a phone and verify that. They don’t listen when you tell them that certain locations don’t do certain things bc they continue to offer shifts at those locations, which ends up being a waste of your time bc you get there and they don’t need you. There is a huge lack of communication. Since they automatically cancel your shift after 20 min of being late you better hope nothing happens on the way there that is beyond your control like an accident that backs up the interstate bc since they have no one for you to speak to your shift will be canceled, your rating will go down, etc and all for something that was not your fault. So now you’ve wasted your time and gas but they don’t care. The training is also a joke. I literally learned how to do the job from other Circle K employees bc the training goes bit teach you at all how to do what you are required and they don’t have a manual you. A refer to or an actual person you can contact on shift when an issue arises.

Not a scam surprisingly
To preface, im not a bot or being paid just wanna share game. So i was on tiktok and seen someone talking about this app. I went through the account registering(the most annoying part) and got a shift the day after, went to the spot.. it was cake and i got 35 bucks. I genuinely thought it was a scam but its looking good so far, my friend in a different city tried tho and there were no spots hiring.. if you have extra time and the shifts pay decent enough i think its a good side gig tbh.

I’ve never seen anything like it! And it actually pays you and fast highly recommended! I was looking for a job for over a year employers were not Hireing even though they had sighns up now I’m working for Shiftsmart getting paid!
the worst platform to work for
don’t waste your time signing up for this platform. they hold ur payment well beyond the ETAs the provide, they have no form of customer service and an unreliable app. Instacart & Instawork are the better options. I’m telling you from experience to save yourself the time, it’s not at all worth it.
