Phenomenal!

I came across this and played it back in 2012/2013. It quickly became one of my favorite adventure games. Every couple of years I play it again.

The game was pretty perfect upon release but the dev keeps the game up to date so that it's still available on the App Store.

Try it. Play it. Explore. Enjoy it! It's such a great tribute to the labyrinth of Tokyo!

Super fun game

I found this from a Reddit comment on a picture of the Shinjuku underground entrance. I wasn't expecting much from this game, but it's pretty fun. My only complaint is that the dpad is stuck on the left with no option to move it.

Really enjoyed it

So very frustrating at first as there are really no instructions, besides just walking around collecting things without really knowing what the final objective is.
But it's a very fun game. Got it done in the end and then all of a sudden you don't want it to end like that, you just want it to continue. Oh well. Good fun while it lasted.

Addicting, Old school

Love it lot of fun exploring reminds me of adventure for atari

Fun romp thought the madness of shin juju.

This game is an item based exploration game. I truly enjoyed collecting the exit stars and reading their names. Don't miss this if you are a fan of Zelda style exploration games.

Great!

I've been to this place, it is as shown. I also have the 3DS version and it is even better. I wish the 3DS improvements could be added to this or have the 3DS version release outside Japan. Or maybe additional "dungeons" that you can travel to using the Tokyo subway system.

Simple game.

It just simple, fun and free game so there is nothing very much exciting but what I liked about this game is that you could imagine how big is shinjyuku and how complicated over there too. I have been there and I was lost. This game make me want to go back to shinjyuku. Lol

Awesome game

Love the music very epic and the gameplay is amazing too! I gave it four stars due to extreme ads. I'd like to see Shinjuku Dungeon in a actual dungeon though.

Hilarious time-waster

This alternate reality game lets you explore one of the world's busiest train stations without having to wait in line anywhere. In fact, asides from some harmless ghosts, red and green blobs and other non-threatening boobytraps, the only thing that seems to be able to move is the user's avatar: a sword-wielding hero who must navigate an eight-bit underground world. Exits are blocked off, and green star checkpoints seem to be the only way of making progress through the dungeon. That someone painstakingly recreated Shinjuku Station as a mobile game is impressive enough, but what is truly amazing is the sense of dread that it will never end (despite what the multiple progress charts claim). Almost as fun as being their yourself, which will be the next level of gameplay: wandering around the actual station while playing this virtual replica!
