Avon Terrace is one of our most picturesque streets, acting as the commercial centre of activities for York. This audio trail app – which is full of interesting commentaries, supporting texts, and fantastic historical images - will highlight some of the charming buildings that line its paths, as well as just a few of the characters behind their development. The app has a GPS aware map, which will show you where you are, and can sort the commentaries by what is closest to you. As the app guides you to various places, you are invited to pause, look and discover the different features that make our main street, Avon Terrace, so intriguing.
