It does it all & more! I couldn’t imagine not using this app. Helps with planning tournaments, map out aiming points, & avoid trouble. 10/10!!!
It has potential.
The app concept and stats have great potential. But it is let down massively with the user experience and the user interface.
Editing a round/shots is painfully clunky. Adding shots and penalties has to be done in a certain lengthy sequence. There are way too many interactions with the app, both during and after the round which takes focus away from the game.
I have noted that the stats can be wrong on occasion (-1.17 shots for a stroke and distance penalty, it should be -2).
I did reach out to Shot Pattern with these issues and some ideas several months ago but nothing seems to have been implemented.
For a paid app of significant cost per year, I really expect better.

My app is up to date and using Apple Watch to automatically track shots. So I’d say it’s the current system I’m using (not the old).
I have definitely selected the correct “stroke and distance” penalty. I have a screen shot I can fire over to show.

It also sounds like you’re not choosing “stroke and distance” in the penalty menu to get the right value. Would love to assist. Basic features are free and they are easy to use. Graphics especially 3D are awesome for planning rounds for new courses or even the ones you frequent.
