Quite literally my favorite game right now
HOW does this game have 75 reviews and a 3.5???? it’s one of the most polished rougelikes for mobile i’ve seen and it’s done really well. my one complaint really, it’s HARD. like really hard. I hope the devs don’t feel bad seeing the reviews this game is really good!!!
I wanna rate it higher
I love the game so much, but every single time I get far into the game it resets itself. This probably wouldn’t bother me much but the latest time I had like half a years worth of progress.

This game is super fun, just want to say that. But I have lost all of my save data TWICE.
The first time I was obviously discouraged, but I liked the game too much I said whatever I’ll just get it back, I got all the characters again, beat the game with a bunch of the characters, and unlocked the classic colors for shovel knight. I was trying to unlock the classic colors for treasure knight, I died, and I closed the game because I was like whatever I’ll play later, I log back in, the screen was pitch black with a little loading thing, it took a long time, so I just closed the game. Loaded back in, all my stuff was gone. Again.

This game isn’t free
So the game looks good but I don’t have a Netflix account and I’m not going to pay 15$ a month. So for any kids reading this ,unless your parents are paying for Netflix don’t get

Just make it free cuz your just saying it is free but then you say “you need to spend 15 dollars to have this game for a month.” Either make it free or have a single price instead of a lying GET button
Fun little game
I’m not sure what those other moronic ‘reviews’ are talking about needing Netflix, it’s a Netflix version, of course it does…
Regardless, It’s a fun little game and portrait mode is always a plus for me as I think more games should be designed around it.

Love it but
Normally I would give this gave 5 stars, I loved it while I could, but suddenly after a while of playing it just began to freeze on me and stopping me from playing completely, this even happened about 5 or 6 months ago perhaps
Pointless?
The game has no direction. Mindlessly moving around attacking stuff? It doesn’t feel quite like a game or like you’re doing anything. Just shovel knight art and noises blasting at you.

An utterly broken masterpiece
This is a great game. It’s lots of fun and feels great to play. I really wish I could play it, but every time I launch the app it crashes. It looks like the last update was 4 months ago, so I’m not holding my breath for this to get fixed. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the game around 5 times, I’ve restarted my phone over and over, and nothing fixed it. Farewell sweet prince, and may a flight of angels sing thee to thy rest

Great game… mostly
As a devoted Shovel Knight Fan: great game! Well, except for the small issue of deleting all data after reinstalling (got a new phone). Really fun, but having to restart each and every Plague Knight trial all over again is a bit tedious. (It’s hard losing every single knight)
Loses your progress
Have a Netflix account, played the game (which is good) but twice now it has presented a “save conflict” offering my to pick one of two options - I assume this should be of different saves locally and online - but both times it only presents 0% progress options and forces me to reset, wasting all time spent

Whyyyyyyyy!?!?!?!
So it’s ok that you need a Netflix account for starters but it comes up all the time because it came up three times for me in one day but otherwise it’s a cool game.
Volume
Both night game, give me a problem with volume I don’t know if it’s a bug, but both did the same thing everything else gave me sound except the one game very disappointing
fantastic game squandered by a single bug
initially i wrote a whole essay here, but it got discarded so I’ll just put in the cliffnotes version instead. it’s a very good game and i think it has potential, but i don’t want to put time into it because of how commonly the game wipes save data (I lost a good few hours of progress). definitely shouldn’t be an issue with a game that has Yacht Club and Netflix working on it, not playing it again until this is fixed.

Great Game, RIP Save Data
Played the game every now and then, booted it up a couple weeks later and my save data had been completely wiped for seemingly no reason. I never deleted the app, didn’t even download any update for it recently. Would’ve given it more benefit of the doubt if this didn’t seem like a common issue, looking at other reviews. Hopefully this gets updated, because I adore the Shovel Knight games and was really looking forward to playing more of this.

Never played Netflix games
I started playing it and it’s pretty fun but if you but three days later, I was about to beat the game, but then it deleted all my progress.
Controller support
Please update the game to include controller support. Backbone says you don’t support it.
