Great place to discuss issues
I am a longtime user and fan of this app… There are a few too many snowflakes on here who get bent out of shape from hearing opinions that differ from their own. With that said, there are many fantastic people who can have civil and meaningful dialogue about world issues. I highly recommend this app and give it five stars.

Unbelievably racist
So many right wing, white supremacists, hateful and ignorant people. It’s surprising Apple allows it to be listed on the Apple Store. Not safe for kids, of which there are many on the app. There doesn’t appear to be any moderation, at all.
Great Polling Application
After reading the last submitted review I decided to write one and give credit where credit is due. The developer created a forum via the app where members could check the pulse of participants on all sorts of topics and issues. There is limites censorship, but for the most part polls are posted and responded to freely. The accusation of inappropriate sexual content is false and yes the poll platform is not the echo chamber the woke want it to be. The real issue is that the misinformation trolls post incendiary comments constantly and the factual content answers are not welcomed. Kudos and thank you to the developer and a hardy shame on you to the last reviewer!

MAGA cesspool
More toxic than any other social media site. The racism has gotten worse over the years. The app is infested with right wing MAGA supporters and they get extremely vile, racist and at times verbally violent. This behavior goes mainly unchecked. Only the worst violations get moderated and that is only when the owner happens to agree it was vile. He runs this site alone with little time for it. So, to some extent, it’s just understandable that moderation is so minimal.
In addition, the app is listed for 12+ ages. Yet, there is daily sexually inclined content, violent references, and excessive bullying. This app should be reclassified as Adult.

Favoritism and biased
SoH claims to be a fair and open platform, but my experience shows otherwise. The moderation feels biased and inconsistent. Some users are favored, while others are penalized for the same behavior. This creates an uneven, frustrating experience where community standards aren’t applied fairly. If you value transparency and equal treatment, think twice before trusting this app.

Polls
I don’t understand what it takes to put on a pole and ask a question. It kept coming back with answers. I didn’t quite understand.
Not allowing sign up
They allow voting but no commenting without signing in, but every username is rejected & the system doesn’t suggest one. Keep in mind that comments on the polls are skewed by this bias: old accounts and whoever hasn’t yet been banned, allowing the platform to control the narrative

Been on this app for years. I love it and have made a lot of friends there.
Discussions run the gamut—users can create polos about whatever they want—though political discussions do tend to dominate. You can hit the ignore button for people who are jerks, and thereby create yourself a nice place to air your opinion.
If you join, look for the monthly introduction poll. It’s a great place to get followers and figure out who you want to follow.

Right Wing Skewed
Results are not representative of the current state of America. I take all results with a grain of salt.
Can be fun
The app leans heavy right wing, so any political polls are skewed in that direction. Not all polls are political, but the app does skew on the political side. The message boards can be quite toxic, but nothing you haven’t seen on social media already. It’s all small user base on the boards, so you can find yourself arguing with the same people over and over again.

Good By Very Rightwing
I have been with SOH since 2012, back than it was enjoyable to use, but over the years and to date SOH has been moving more to the right, so I am leaving SOH and deleting the app.
Heavy MAGA majority
Polls are very skewed because of the massive republican/maga majority. Polls make more sense when you look at the stats. Overall a good app, just look at the stats for an actual look at what is really beleived.

Hateful Community
Absolutely vile, hateful community of mostly Trump worshipping conservatives, who sit around bashing on liberals, the LGBTQ, and immigrants all day long. The F-word and N-word are tossed around at times, and the developer allows it. Used to be an alright place to do some polls and have some debates, but it has gone WAY south.

I have been using this app for years, however lately the new poll questions haven’t been updating. In order to get them I must delete the app and then redownload. Wish there was a way to contact the developers.
