360 Chess mode?
The app works well on iPhone 17 series event though the update is a bit dated. Can we have 360 Chess option in our games? That randomised mode is frequently played in FIDE Chess tournaments these days, and I think it will be a good addition inside the app!

Cette appli est clairement has been, mais très sincèrement, elle cartonne ! Elle a tout ce qu'il faut pour jouer : analyse, coups conseilés, 2600 élo, possibilité de setup les coups pour les deux camps, ou faire des boards puis lancer la partie sur quelques problèmes à étudier, elle évalue votre jeu et adapte son niveau progressivement, c'est pas un coach, c'est pas chess.com, mais c'est quand même une super app, si vous dépassez le côté un "cheap".

Outdated App with Limited Features
I recently bought this chess application, and I must say I'm quite disappointed. The interface feels outdated, and it lacks many features that modern chess apps offer.
For example, there are no tutorials for beginners or advanced strategies, which makes it difficult for players to improve their skills. Additionally, the graphics and overall user experience could use a significant update to make it more engaging.
I believe this app has potential, but it needs a thorough revamp to compete with more current options on the market. I hope the developers consider these improvements in future updates.

Great app, but got puzzle scoring problems
I love this app, have been using it for years. However, there has been a long standing problem with the way it calculates scores for puzzles. In particular, not all puzzles get included in the scoring. Sometimes you can play a few and the scores never get updated. Or sometimes you solve a few puzzles with the top score, but your average score actually goes down. I usually reset my score after every 100 puzzles, and so it’s not that hard to see whether it’s updating it and if it’s accurate. I’ll be happy to give it 5 stars if this gets fixed.

Best chess app hands down
I have tried every one I could find sand nothing beats this. The puzzles it gives you to solve are great and if you think it is wrong and your solution is better it lets you convert the puzzle to challenge the computer and it's always right.
Still rocks after 2 years of no updates
I believe this is my best purchase on a chess app on IOS. I spent $7.99 in Feb of 2013 for this and after 10 years and many IOS version updates Shredder chess still is my go-to chess app for puzzles, playing, and learning. 1000 puzzles is a lot, and the best thing is I can continue playing against the engine at the position where the puzzle is solved for endgame practice.

Avoid this App
This app is defective on many levels eg
- declares draws when clearly not the case. There was only the black king on the board with 3 white queens, white rook and White Castle and it declared a stalemate draw
- advised me to take back a checkmate move
- frequently offers poor suggested moves
- doesn’t clearly show when you have been put in check
- no explanation on puzzles
The list goes on. Don’t waste your money like I did. Get something else

This is hands down the
absolute best chess app ever. I tried every one over the years and this is the best there is. It will give you chess problems to solve and let you stop in the middle and play that position from either side. I cannot say enough about the thought that went into this app. Very versatile and fast. Thanks for making it so intersectional. I love the problems and use them every day to stay sharp. Playing strength control not working
At the beginning of a game, the program works more or less at the preset playing strength. However, during the middle game it often pumps up its rating significantly (validated with Crafty). A player at a moderate 1600 should continue to play at this level until the end and not suddenly play flawlessly. This is particularly annoying during a Blitz chess game.

This is the best substitute I have found for other actual chess players; the difficulty scaling is great and give a good, surmountable challenge.
