Total waste of money, needs a camera for immediate identification.
Great but…
Don’t get me wrong. This app is great, but it uses a UK mushroom database. While Europe is far superior than the US in its mushroom history and the mycology ranks, mushrooms and hunting are very specific to their respective regions. Easy example: Fly Agaric in Minnesota are generally yellow with white spots, not red with white spots.

My one request would if we could “bookmark” or otherwise mark certain mushies… would love to have a record or collection of the ones we’ve found on our property.

An app my partner introduced me to; he adores foraging and as I come from Poland I love hunting for mushrooms myself. It is extremely helpful and useful, I would like to suggest two little edits tho. Where it says that a mushroom is either edible or poisonous to make the title have some background behind the text so it’s not asker to read/spot. As well as, I think it might be useful to be able to introduce a “what mushroom is this” search feature where one may either paste a picture of the shroom or describe it as well as possible.

Misleading
Misleading app it’s listed with other apps that point and click mushroom pictures and I paid for this app that don’t do anything but reference.
Great but very limited
This app is very detailed for the species of fungi it has. I appreciate the simple design of the interface.
The only issue I have with this app is the narrow amount of fungi is has. It only holds the “top” fungi or the most recognizable fungi. I really wish it had a much larger base of species to ID, as the ones it has could be identified very easily without the app.
It’s worth the purchase for your first intro to fungal ID, but it’s not much help after a short time.

Add function??
APP is affordable and user friendly. Surely not covering every mushroom. Good to have a new section like forum? Or simply let users upload their photos after approved by admin? Absolutely, those pictures in the APP not enough to cover the significant details of identifying mushrooms.

Guess what mushroom
My cousin looked a mushroom up on this game and it didn’t even pop up. It doesn’t have a lot of mushrooms and I can’t take pictures which I need to take pictures so I can figure out which one it is. I know you sometimes can’t trust the pictures but they really help

Charged me 4 dollars when I had t used the app in weeks.
Lacking species
This app would be better if more species were included. For example, there are more than 50 species of Ramaria in the Pacific Northwest, but this app mentions 3 total. I wanted to use it to look at spring snowmelt mushrooms and found it lacking.

This has been a great app! I use it all the time and have shared it with my mushroom curious friends! Hope to see more photos of different species…and would be delighted to have a method of contributing images….that got vetted before being added to the app of course!
