Total waste of money, needs a camera for immediate identification.
Great but…
Don’t get me wrong. This app is great, but it uses a UK mushroom database. While Europe is far superior than the US in its mushroom history and the mycology ranks, mushrooms and hunting are very specific to their respective regions. Easy example: Fly Agaric in Minnesota are generally yellow with white spots, not red with white spots.

My one request would if we could “bookmark” or otherwise mark certain mushies… would love to have a record or collection of the ones we’ve found on our property.

An app my partner introduced me to; he adores foraging and as I come from Poland I love hunting for mushrooms myself. It is extremely helpful and useful, I would like to suggest two little edits tho. Where it says that a mushroom is either edible or poisonous to make the title have some background behind the text so it’s not asker to read/spot. As well as, I think it might be useful to be able to introduce a “what mushroom is this” search feature where one may either paste a picture of the shroom or describe it as well as possible.
