Start game just spins

Can’t get the game started. Been spinning for 2 hours

Response from developer

I think we have been in contact about this through our support site where I'm pleased to say that the game started correctly when it was retried the next time. I apologize for the initial issue but it seems that installation was abnormal. I hope your ongoing experience merits a higher rating.

Brilliant

Easy to use and fun to play. A different slant on the normal Bingo game. Sing-a-long happy game of chance. Not a quiz so no competition just enjoy singing.

This does not work

This app wants to take your money without an explanation as to what you are getting. It is not at all user friendly on Mac and the buttons that should provide links to settings and subscription do not work. I have been ripped off

Works well after emailing support

Updated: I initially tried using the app based on my existing Apple iTunes playlists and had lots of problems. After an exchange of emails with support, I found that Apple had disabled iTunes support and thus only allowed actual playlists created using an Apple Music subscription. I decided to give it another try using a playlist with an Apple Music subscription. The issues that I experienced went away. The app works well. So for future reference, I think it’s fair to say that the app requires an Apple Music subscription. Thanks to the Shuffle team for the clarity and explanation.

Thank you for the updated review. To be clear, you should also be able to play your own iTunes playlists because Apple Music will provide the metadata we need. I am updating the App Store description to make the situation clear. Underscores are used to separate discrete responses. ___________ I think we have been in contact via the support email address. If so,as I explained, Apple forced us to move to MusicKit for MetaData instead of MPMediaLibrary which is what we used at the outset and enabled us to manage games based on iTunes data or Apple Music playlists. Without an active, Apple Music subscription, we do not receive all essential MetaData and that would lead to the issues you have described. I will try to update our information on the App Store to make this clear. I have created a more comprehensive explanation at https://www.shufflebingo.com/Announcement.pdf . ____________The following is a response to a previous post that is no longer visible. We developed the code to support Spotify at the start of the year, similar to the support for Apple Music. However, when we approached Spotify to enable the code to go live, they blocked it because they do not allow their platform to be used for games. Therefore, I'm afraid we can only support Apple Music. I can add that we have also enhanced the game to use Apple MusicKit instead of MediaKit that has made a significant improvement to the App's functionality and interface. Please see https://www.shufflebingo.com/Announcement.pdf for further information about the need for Apple Music.

Fun bar game

I use this app regularly at local bars and restaurants. Easy to use and efficient controls keeping it simple and fun for everyone.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. That's exactly what we aimed for.

Patiently Waiting

I saw from a review a year ago that Spotify was something being worked on. I however do not see any option for that. Wondering if it is real or am I forced to license Apple Music. (I really don’t want to copy all my songs on to my iPad).

Great App

Great easy to use app. Customer service is outstanding too.

Response from developer

Thank you. We are striving to make the app as good as it can be.

Lots of issues since the new update - Please help!

Normal issues:
I cannot use my iPad because the QR codes read as errors since I created the games from my iPhone.

I also cannot pull from my saved games list because the full list of songs do not pull into the session.

Since the new update:
The QR codes on the cards read all errors. I can’t figure out how to fix it. I have about 15 different categories for a weekly event and this is crucial to operation.

Since the new update, I have to manually search for most of the playlists. All of my playlists showed before the update.

I can’t get the email link to open to contact support. I am hoping this review will catch attention & lead to contact for support!

Otherwise, I really like this app and it has been extremely helpful/easy overall!

Please help!!

I am sorry that you have hit these issues. Please contact us via support@shufflebingo.com so we can work them more quickly. In the meantime, we will take action to get you going again. Version 2 of Shuffle Bingo uses Apple's MediaKit but that is being sunsetted. Therefore, we have had to migrate to MusicKit. The two environments use different databases so, when V3 is first started, it migrates existing games to the new format. I believe I've located your Facebook account and have sent messages.

Playlist skips songs

When I start a game, it plays a few songs but then it suddenly skips the next song. In turn when it’s showing the song that’s playing but it’s not the name of the song that’s playing and if someone calls bingo because it played the song but never showed it on my que. the QR code won’t show a winning bingo. I have to keep a separate record of the songs on paper. Why is that?

Update 15th August 2025 After extensive investigation, it appears that saved Apple Music playlists can be modified outside of our control. When we save the playlist, we record details of the contents including identifiers. If they are changed subsequently, we will not recognize any modified song. We are working on a major update that will enable us to determine the last modification date so we can issue an alert if the playlist was saved subsequently. _______________________________________________________ Are you using Apple Music please? It would be easier if we can correspond via email. The address is support@shufflebingo.com I have tried to recreate this issue before but never succeeded. I would like to get to the bottom of the issue. Also what device are you running on and what is the OS please? I responded to a similar issue on 23rd March but did not receive a response? Did you set the heart for all songs?

Great on my phone, Crashes on my Mac

Shuffle Music Bingo is solid when I use it on my phone — smooth, fun, and easy to run a game. It’s a cool idea and works really well for parties or events.

But on my MacBook? It keeps crashing for no reason. Super frustrating when you’re trying to run things from a bigger screen. Until that’s fixed, I’m sticking to mobile.

Would love to bump this to 5 stars once it’s stable across all devices!

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry about your experience with the Mac. Could you advise which OS you have on the Mac please? It may be easier to reply via our support address support@shufflebingo.com

Excellent App

The app works great, recommend to go premium, some improvements would be to add Spotify playlists, be able to text Virtual bingo cards and also be able to do music video bingo.

Keep up the great work developers

Response from developer

Thank you for your kind words. We did develop support for Spotify but, having done so, Spotify would not authorize the facility because they do not allow the platform to be used with games so it had to be shelved. The idea for virtual bingo cards is interesting and worth consideration.

Perfectly what was needed.

This app works great with Apple Music playlists. Only app that worked great for music bingo.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. We have tried to make an app that is simple to use yet versatile and fun.

Songs and answer don’t mix

Skips songs and gets behind so answers don’t match the songs…

Just saw this review. Have we discussed this via email please? I am aware of an issue when the app is used with Apple Music but it is not clear whether that was caused by Apple Music not synching correctly. I have tried to obtain additional data to diagnose and fix the issue but I have not received it. Also, I raised a question about the use of the heart icon that had been applied to every song in the playlist when the default time was shorter. The icon was intended for a few popular songs to be played in full. If you haven’t reported the issue already, please send as much information as you can to info@shufflebingo.com

Awesome App!!

This app is well put together! Only two thing I’d like to see in an update:
1 - Being able to toggle on or off the “Ding” noise that it makes in between each song.
2 - being able to customize the starting point of each song individually in each playlist.

Other than that this app is absolutely amazing and easy to work!

Response from developer

Update November 7th. Version 2.1.0 has been released with the option to suppress the sound between tracks. More detailed control of track start and duration is under review. Thank you for your comments. I will get the ding made manageable asap. For the customisation of individual songs, I had contemplated that at the outset but we opted for standard approach. I’ll keep that suggestion in mind because it would enable a lot more games to be constructed.

Unable to download the cards.

There is no option to download the cards. There is no download PDF option. Only discovered this after paying the subscription price.
Needed for an in-person music bingo event in two days. Hopefully there is a quick fix or a quick refund.

Response from developer

It should work. Select playlist, number and shape of cards. Export cards, choose font size and use the icon at the bottom of the screen on the right. It’s a rectangle with an upward arrow.

Music options

I like the looks of the game but looking for a Spotify option instead of Apple Music

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. We developed support for Spotify but, when we applied for permission to add it, Spotify refused because they do not allow use of the platform for games.

LIARS

The description in the App Store says you only have to purchase once, and then I get in and find out it’s a subscription based and the $7.99 I paid does no good. I was only looking for a one time use for a camping trip with friends. I will be disputing this charge and blasting this app anywhere I can an audience!

Response from developer

I will gladly return your payment and review the description. The app was originally a one time payment but it was converted to a graduated charge recently. If I have misled, I will correct it. If you are unable to get a refund, please let me know and I will sort it. There was no intention to deceive. Can I also point out that the ‘beat the intro’ option is not limited and you could have used the free option to print a couple of cards a day until you had enough without charge. I was not aware that the set price of $7.99 was displayed on the App Store. I have edited it to $0.00 that provides the base product. The tiers provide increased capability. Please let me know what you have been charged. Edit 13th May Release 2.02 has been applied and any purchases prior to 1st May will be upgraded to permanent licences because of the error. Thank you for making me aware of the error.

Love the app

This is a great app to shuffle clips of songs. The only issue I have is if I pause then come back in 10 minutes I can not continue the same playlist

Response from developer

Hi Jen. Did you get my email reply please? I asked if you are using Apple Music. In trying to extend the app to use Spotify as well, we had connectivity issues and I wondered if that was the case for you.

Font size

Easy app to use.

Is there a way to change the font size?
Will there be a free space available?
Make the cards bigger?

I have older customers that have a hard time reading the songs because they are small.

Response from developer

Sorry I only just found these reviews. When you export the cards, you will see the aA icon in the bottom left corner. Press that and you can select a regular or large font.
