Professional remote shoots!
I am a professional photographer and I have been using this app with great results. It’s fantastic to be able to offer a totally different experience to a traditional shoot. One of my clients told me “it’s like having a photographer in my pocket”! In general the app has been working very smoothly but on a couple of occasions I had to restart the session. However the app did give me a warning, and relaunching the session was quick and easy. Most importantly I didn’t loose any photos! Controlling the remote camera is great from a computer and you can easily make the best of your client’s phone camer. Well done, and thank you for this app. It’s amazing!

Fantastic app
This is a great app for certain types of photography. Sure, it’s not as good as doing an in person shoot, but it’s great for certain sessions. I’ve found it useful for:
- Getting to know a model and vice versa, and testing a few ideas out with someone who isn’t local.
- Seeing an environment before travelling to the real shoot
- Being able to direct models who want content shooting for their pages but don’t want to carry on of using timers and not being able to see how they look. Receiving direction from someone who can guide them into posing.
Great app. Only downside is that it is a battery drainer, so keep an eye on that, and sometimes the stream can get laggy after 45 mins to an hour so quite often having to reset it.

Fraud/scam
I was wondering if you could help me. It’s been over a year and the photographer who took my pictures refuses to release them and won’t get back to me. I can see the pictures are in production and I’ve tried to contact her to no avail - is there any way you could help or contact her. Id really appreciate it if you could help! Thank you

Remote Shooting made real
When I discovered ShutterApp it was like finding what you always dreamt of. The app works like a charm, I have been using it for more than 10 months and it has allowed me to work shooting remotely all over the world. If you ask me, go get it and discover the world of remote shooting!

Amazing all in one virtual photo studio app
I absolutely love using this app for taking pictures of clients all around the world. The app is very intuitive to use and even allows you to speak with the person you are photographing through the app. Plus, there is a feature where I can easily pop on camera and show them how I want them to pose. It also makes it very easy to deliver the edited photographs to my clients. The developers are very responsive and quick to answer if you are in need of support. I highly recommend.

Great to use & Huge potential ahead
This has been a game changer in terms of getting raws out of the smart phones of this world and giving them the real post production treatment. All of a sudden I can shoot quality content anywhere in the world. Perfect for the times we live in and going forward

i am a photographer in florida, and have a model i want to shoot in texas, and JUST found this app. i will be doing tests, so far i tested with myself and my phone and my own ipad and it worked! i now need to do a test across state lines, but very promising! i will update this review soon, but so far i’m VERY excited to use this more.

Glitchy but good when it works
There are still a lot of bugs that need to be worked out but, when this app works, it’s much better than screenshotting a Zoom meeting or using FaceTime. I tried this on 3 devices (MacBook Air & 2 different generations of iMacs); the model used a Google Pixel phone. Here’s what we encountered: 1) After a few minutes of remote shooting, the video would just freeze on my end and I’d have to start a new session. 2) After a few minutes of chatting with the model, my screen would go black and I wouldn’t be able to see anything BUT we could still communicate with each other and I could still take photos. It didn’t matter if I chose to upload the photos immediately or after the session. 3) Some of the photos wouldn’t upload at all. That said, it’s great when it works! Love being able to control the focus, exposure & white balance, too.
