The App keep telling me [ there was an error when updating your portfolio] please fix the bugs.
Why even?
Shutterstock is okay. This app, though, is totally worthless. Contributors can’t use it for anything; we have to use the computer web interface. Why even release something this purposeless?
New update fail
Log in now fails and results in black screen. Tried deleting and reinstalling but same happens… major bug on iPhone.
Another of “these” apps with the “new car smell” that dies off.
Installed this app nearly a week ago. Out of approx 10 photos, 4 got approved the first evening. No activity since, even after loading additional photos. Not even any rejects. Did this app literally flop after the first day I used it?
Shutterstock has gone downhill
Reducing the commissions by 66% is a real problem, and an insult to contributors. And apparently prospective buyers have moved on to other sites, judging by the drastically reduced volume of sales reported by most contributors.
Useless contributor support
I sold photos on this platform for nearly a decade. One day I tried signing on but my account was suspended. Of course I contacted “support” for an explanation and the “support” team claimed that one of my photos was flagged for copyright infringement. I not only provided the information they requested (copy of the raw file in question) but I provided raw copies of the entire shoot. I waited almost 4 months for a reply and was informed that I would have to delete my account of another stock image platform I used because images from the same shoot were available on it, which is complete nonsense since shutterstock is partnered with that particular stock agency! The laziness and blatant incompetence on display throughout the process would have been amusing had it not been so irritating. Several of my images are still listed for sale on shutterstock and when I requested information on the hypocrisy, I was told that my case was being sent to the same incompetent “support”team so that they may complete the same process already done a year ago. Do yourself a favor and use another stock agency.

A non-responsive non-existent review team with an ever pending.. disappointing experience
Uploaded content taken by myself during travel journeys. Got couple of them removed due to having logos.. fair enough. The other content still pending after 3 months of upload!!
Intentionally made very hard to contact their review team and somehow if you do get to them.. no response!

$.10 for a picture and $25 minimum to cash out. Thanks SS. Your generosity is shocking. And now the app won’t let me add any more photos and continues to insist I go to the tax page and update my info. I did. Now get over it and let me use the app.

Bug detected.
Hi! I found something similar to a bug. My portfolio has 9,525 images. The app shows a different number, only 7,555 images. It seems like editorial content isn't showing. Thanks!

What happened?
This app started off great, now I can’t upload because the gallery will only scroll so far, I can’t look at any folder in my photos either when uploading. I can’t even view the photos I’ve already uploaded, I can no longer view my shutterstock library. So if I can’t upload, and I can’t view anything on the app. What’s the point of this app?

Level reset feels unfair
Why does our level have to be reset in January? Why don’t you make it a 12 month rolling Level? That would reward people if they keep selling and those who don’t would drop off. It would be much more fair than this whole January reset business.

Its been over 5 days and my photos and videos are still listed as “Pending Review”. Did the site go out of business?
