Best Melbourne public transport app
The easiest to use, most comprehensive app for Melbourne’s public transport network. No subscriptions, the app just works. Can’t recommend it enough.

Nice app. Easy to navigate and quite useful. Only drawback is the bus tracking system is still not very good. It would be useful if I could report a bus as not being here after 5-10 mins.

Amazing app
This app came up on my fyp and I decided to give it a go and it’s definitely an upgrade, the live activities save me so much time. I don’t know why more people are not using this app!

Some Quick Changes
Gday. first off i would like to say i love this app with everything. however there is just one change i would like to make. routines. lets say i go to school, however i only have one day where i go to school through tram. can you allow that to automatically come up and show me when my tram is and when i can leave on that day? Thanks

Nice app
Is it possible to have real time information for vline as well. Like anytrip app has?
Train Stats and Platforms
I believe it was advertised that this app could show nerdy train stats like what train and model is running the service (i.e. EDI Comeng, VLocity, Siemens Nexus, etc) and the train number (1048T or like 393M or 394M), I can’t seem to find this information anywhere in the app - where to find this?
Also, the app doesn’t seem to show the platforms that V/Line trains are departing from which makes it as useless as the PTV app - if this information is available - please let me know where to find it.
Another part is that the app doesn’t seem to show the next departures properly.
I set my starting location to South Yarra Station and destination to Southern Cross Station, and instead of showing the next service departing in 5 mins, it showed the first service to depart being the one in 15 mins.
Apart from that - I love the Live Activities and (I’m not sure how to set an alarm for when my train is supposed to arrive at my stop - pls help me with this as well) and yeah the app is really good.

Brilliant
Way better than the V/Line app for keeping track of disruptions. Everything is clear and easy to read, which takes a lot of the stress out of planning ahead.

Seriously impressive, removes any difficulty figuring out the nonsense public transport routing the other apps offer. The AI summaries are great, as is the live activities

Extremely reliable!
I find shuttle much more reliable for public transport compared to Google maps, it shows more transport options such as a way to reach my destination faster compared to Google Maps and lines that aren't shown. Worth every dollar!

Hello, I'd like to better understand your problem. All functionality claimed in the App Store and other promotional material are present and working in Shuttle. Send an email to david@mazzeoapps.com so we can look into this.
Simple and glanceable
Shuttle allows for great glanceable information through live activities and pinned favourites without tapping into any further taps. Crucial information like when a service is arriving, what platform it’s leaving from and any disruptions are easy to access in a beautiful looking app that’s a worthwhile upgrade to ptv.
However, when using the app some actions feel like they take longer than they should or unnecessarily complicated:
- Can’t add a stop to journery planner from the search screen. Instead have to go into the journey planner tab and find it there
- Cant add tap in and see the full stop information from favourites if selecting a singles direction (to be able to see the how long from the Home Screen). (It would be nice to be able to to click the top bar to see full stop information or be able to back out into it instead of having to search for the stop in search)
- Can’t see disruptions in the single direction stop view. (When coming from favourites).
-Journey planner defaults to being empty instead of including current location by default. (Or having that option)
- it would be nice to be able to see every stop by zooming out on the map instead of just the nearby ones
Overall the app functions as advertised, has almost every feature you’d want (hopefully widgets coming soon) wrapped in a stunning package that just needs a few UI tweaks to make it flow.
Definitely worth a buy for the live activities and disruptions alone. No subscription is very much appreciated
