Absolutely Perfect ! For those struggling to restore your purchase, simply buy it again and it’ll tell you you’ve purchased it already. Yes, the fear that you’ll be charged again is there, but as long as you are using the same Apple ID, you won’t be charged. I’m not sure why the developers haven’t just told people this, but that’s all you need to do. The same goes for the expansions. Purchase them again, and as long as it’s been paid for already, you will not be charged.

Restore purchases
Paid for the game and many add ons, updated iPad and now it won’t let me restore my purchases. FIX THIS!!
Can we please rename cities on iPad version?
I can’t believe how inexpensive this is and the accessibility without the need for WiFi! I’m played as a kid and have been killing waaaaaay too many hours glued to this game. That said one of my FAVORITE parts of prior versions was the ability to rename cities. It was fun and it helped with recall when bouncing around the screen. Would LOVE it if this could be added for iPad version. Thanks!

I played this game for years. It is getting a bit boring. The gameplay graphics are good. There are enough leaders and different challenges to keep you busy

Tolles Spiel, freche DLC-Preise
Ich spiele Civilization 6 normalerweise am PC und habe damit unzählige Stunden verbracht. Die Version fürs iPad ist ebenfalls sehr gut spielbar, ich kann keine großen Abstriche feststellen.
Das große Minus kommt jetzt: möchte man die beiden Add-Ons „Rise & Fall“ und „Gathering Storns“ hinzufügen und noch ein paar zusätzliche Anführer, ist man schnell knapp 100 Euro(!!) los. Das ist einfach nur frech und eine Schande für die ganze Serie, zumal es mittlerweile schon einen Nachfolger gibt und Civ 6 in der Platinum Edition (also das Basis-Spiel + alle Add Ons + alle DLCs) auf dem PC für unter 20 Euro zu haben ist. Entweder hat man hier einfach vergessen, die Preise anzupassen oder es ist einfach nur ein dreister Versuch, treue Civ-Spieler kräftig abzumelken.
Wirklich sehr schade, da die iOS-Umsetzung sehr gelungen ist, aber ohne die zusätzlichen Inhalte wird das Spiel schnell langweilig. Insbesondere dann, wenn man diese auf anderen Plattformen schon nutzt.
Sobald hier die Preispolitik angepasst wird, passe ich auch meine Bewertung auf 5 Sterne an. Unter den aktuellen Umständen kann ich leider nicht mehr als 2 Sterne geben.

I’ve already paid for the game and extensions, stop playing for a couple of months, and when I go back, I got to pay again for access to the game.
Do not waste your time or money.
People, read the reviews. The developers are gone and the thing is utterly broken. And since they no longer work on it, it will not be fixed, it is dead space, not a game, don’t give them your money.
Unable to Restore Purchase
I love Civ VI, and have bought most of the expansions and everything on my phone. But when I switched to a new phone it isn’t giving me the option to restore my purchase. When I click on the button it just exits the prompt. Please help!!

Restoring purchase does not work
Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with Civilization VI on iPhone where I cannot restore my purchased content.
The Restore Purchases button is completely unresponsive. When I tap it, nothing happens—there is no loading indicator, no error message, and no prompt. I am unable to restore either the Full Game or any of my purchased DLC.
I have already tried the following:
* Verified I am signed into the correct Apple ID that originally made the purchases.
* Confirmed I have sufficient free storage on my device.
* Restarted my iPhone.
* Force-closed and reopened the game multiple times.
* Deleted and reinstalled Civilization VI.
None of these steps resolved the issue. Even after reinstalling the game, the Restore Purchases button still does absolutely nothing.
Please investigate this issue and advise how I can restore the Full Game and all of my purchased DLC. If there is a known issue or an account-side problem preventing my purchases from being recognized, I would appreciate your assistance in resolving it.

Unable to access purchased game
I bought this game several years ago, however when installing it on my new iPad, the ‘restore purchases’ button in the game doesn’t work and I am unable to play the game. Please be aware that if you buy this game, you may be unable to play it again if you uninstall or upgrade your device.

As others have said, restoring purchases is broken. So if you ever find yourself switching devices or having to reinstall, you’ll be out of luck and then go through the hassle of trying to get a refund from Apple.
