Buggy and annoying
The resource icons keep disappearing so you can’t see what buildings or techs do. They work at the start of a game and then disappear after you reload it. Also the click and hold for right click doesn’t really work most of the time as it either selects the thing making it go away or overlays background tile info blocking what you can see

Great port but out of date and locked behind monthly subscription
So the actual implementation here is excellent and deserves 5 stars. It’s even better than the Civ 6 port, runs great, looks beautiful, runs just like the PC version with one glaring caveat. It’s locked to an older version. On PC it’s had a major update that significantly improves many game features and UI. Now that I’ve played that version, going back to this one feels like a major downgrade and noticeably less enjoyable. It’s still a great game and I would only ding one star from an otherwise 5 star game and port. However the other significant downside to this is that it’s locked exclusively to Apple Arcade. Civilization 6 is available for direct purchase and so I had bought it outright because really that’s one of the 2 games in arcade that I was actually interested in playing long term. Now that 7 is on iPad I’d like to switch over and I’d love to do the same here and just buy outright to play when I want. Ultimately that exclusivity to a monthly subscription that I only want one game from (I’ve already bought the other 2) is why I took the other star off my rating. When either of these changes I will update my rating. For now I will just cancel arcade and try to play via steam remote play instead.

This game is just too good to be true. Runs excellently on my ipad and the complexity and strategy involved is just thrilling and satisfying

BUGGY - UNPLAYABLE
Unplayable n my MacBook Pro M3. Ridiculous! Every time I find a discovery decision, it fails to render the menu, I can’t take make a choice, can’t progress to next turn. Stupid!

Мне очень понравилось. Тема с эпохами придумали классно, рабочих убрали хорошо. Стилистики и визуал нравятся. Сделали очень достойную циву.
Единственное, что можно улучшить это поведение ИИ, чтобы подстраивался под стиль игры и заданные условия. Но все, что касается самой игры, геймплея, мне нравится.

Underrated
Civ 7 might not be as good as civ 6 in the way of content or uniqueness but it is still a great game for a casual player like myself to play a civ game and have fun.

Crashes
I’d give this a higher rating, but unfortunately the game has become unplayable after my first session. It worked great the first time I played, but now the app crashes every time I try to load either a saved game or start a new one.
I’ve seen similar reports from other iPhone 17 users experiencing the same issue. Please fix this! I’d love to keep playing because I really enjoyed the game when it was working.

Very detailed graphics
Immensely cool game I am new to it I wish they told you more about how to play it but to do a right click on a MacBook hold control and tap the touchpad.
Controls are there
Love this series but it just doesn’t work on a phone. Even projecting it onto my TV so I can see it, the controls just don’t work. Combat is basically impossible

It's really hard to play without 60 frames. At that time, it was because there was no 60fps that I didn't play 60fps on the mobile terminal. As a result, 7 still didn't have 60fps.
