Not great, but good

I know a lot of people don’t like the different civ per era, but honestly I don’t mind it. Civilizations change over time, and some nations end so new ones can begin.
I personally love the quest lines for each victory path.

Confusingg

I haven’t tried this kind of game before. I got so confused, there are just too many options and many of them comes with no instructions.

Great game to add to your Apple Arcade App List

I’ve been a fan of Sid Meier’s Civilization series and Civ VII is another great evolution. I enjoy this Apple Arcade version and it really look great on my iPad Pro. This one is a keeper!

Love it

Thanks for bringing Civ7 to Mobile so fast! I enjoy it almost as much as Civ6.
I’m sure overtime I will like even more

Volcano Eruption and Other Natural Disaster Notifications

If you have your scouts discover the whole map, the notifications are OVERWHELMING. I don’t need to know that a volcano on the other side of the big map erupted. It’s too much.

Too much art, not enough game

Someone took game concepts too far into the realm of art and mechanics, and forgot that it’s a game. And I say this as a high school Social Studies teacher who has loved Civ since the original. I want to like this, but it’s places far too much emphasis on concept and design than game play.

The best…until the end

Everything about this game works other than the pacing.
The game seems to end in the modern era, and it seems to be in 1900. Which is odd for “winning” strategies like the space race. So…one of the vest civilization games, but it crashes and burns in the last 100 years

Garbage

Company completely lost its way with this game.

Waste of time that makes no sense on any level. Don’t waste your money.

Examples are that science is a land based yield that completely destroys dynamics, and settlers might as well be tanks that are near impossible to kill and cannot be captured.
Control is cumbersome and clunky, water restrictions make no sense. There is no historical significance.

Game was designed by an idiot that completely lost sight of the fundamental principle of the franchise.

It’s horribly broken.

OK but…

Some aspects of the game are good, but here is a list of issues
Victory conditions are difficult to man over. I have played a number of times and absolutely wiped out my opponents until there was only one player with one city left, and I still was defeated! Crazy hey!
There is an inability to choose leaders & civs that you want to- they remain locked!
Also there seems to be an era missing. Where are the middle cruisers stealth & jet planes? The game seems to end in 1950! No digital, information or future era! This is not good!
That will do for now. Developers please get on to it! Make it 5 star!!

Great addition to  Arcade

I love Civ games, especially V and VI but VII has been a real treat. Thanks for adding it to  Arcade. :)

Multiplayer doesn’t work

Both multiplayer modes (Internet and Lan) say ‘offline account detected’ and refuse to work, despite being online and other games working fine.

OK

It’s not bad, but it’s definitely not as good as Civ 5 or even Civ 6. Not sure how, but they have brought back micromanagement.

Bugged

Fix your bugs, can’t progress in game because save files crash on loading.

Test of Time please

Can you update with the Test of Time, that is so much of an improvement. All the other platforms have those, please do so for iOS!

Fun game

Keeps my mind occupied

Game Constantly Force Quits

I appreciate that they patched the game here if not giving us the full update.

That being said, the game force quits ALL THE TIME and I’ll lose everything before the last save.

The game also feels so incomplete that you can tell they’re saving the full parts of this game for some expensive dlc.

Many aspects of this game feels so basic and without depth. Literally stripped of features previous games have had. For instance- what even is diplomacy anymore?

Lots to fix, lots to add before this game becomes truly playable.

Civ 7 review

I have played civ six and I think this is such an upgrade. The graphics the style the new leaders all of it makes a great new addition to the civ franchise.

Tedious and painful

Worst version of Civ in decades. The iOS interface is slow and unintuitive. Feels like being a rat in a maze pushing pieces around the map. Have to tap ten times on a single unit just to complete one action. Click here and get a pellet. No sense of adventure or interaction. The game runs fast enough and the graphics are beautiful, but it’s just no fun to slog through. Uninstalled.

Love the game but found a couple of glitches

Overall I love the game. I’ve played as three different leaders through every age. On my most recent game I noticed a glitch that, even though I’d fully researched all necessary requirements, I was unable to continue moving my treasure fleets back to the mainland. I’d successfully moved 7 across open ocean, but they suddenly stopped. Scouts also. And my carracks were moving one at a time, like they do before research is completed. I researched and it seems like this is a known bug. Otherwise, the game runs smoothly.

As a past Civ player

This version is horrible
Not fun at all. It is aggravating
Single tile per vehicle is awful for managing moves
The entire management is too complex
I wanted simple, be the leader, play action battles
But no, my goddam people are unhappy, just like I am
