Bad System
I have a set of clubs for sale. 3 different people have contacted me about them. Each time I click on the ‘View & Reply’ button it takes me to the app but the app comes up to blank screen. If I do it on computer they have either deleted the buyer’s message or I can’t reply to it. I have contacted them numerous times but they can’t correct either problem

First time buying equipment unseen
Found a full set of pro level goalie equipment gently used and at a phenomenal price. App has protection (funds aren’t released to seller until transaction is confirmed by buyer) and an easy way to get in touch with sellers to get additional photos if needed. Definitely will buy using this service again.

I’ve had this app for about a year and have made 2 purchases and 18 sales. The app layout is super nice and the app doesn’t take too big of a cut when you make sales. Overall this is a great app and I recommend.

Terrible Customer Service
The customer service with SidelineSwap has been absolutely terrible. I have been dealing with their dispute team for about two months, with minimal help or answers. Be careful what you buy, they may not protect you from fraud.

Update: 9/11/2026: still no money. Been told it was sent but can never provide details. Developer reached out of this negative review. Not hopeful she'll be able to fix it.
I sold a softball bat thru sideline swap on 3/26/2026 and as of 06/11/2026 I've yet to receive the requested gift card. I've been in constant contact with support but they always say it's coming, it was sent, we have another team checking on it. I receive every other email spam or otherwise but can't seem to receive one with my gift card. When asked just to give me the cash they can't. It's a joke and I will never sell or buy another item thru this app.

I’ve only sold 3 things in this App. Mostly brand new or hardly used. Every buyer has a song and dance about the bats when they receive them. Then they have you at their mercy because you are in the hook for returned items. It’s been bad faith on every sale. Total BS. Don’t use this site.
My recommendation is give your stuff away to somebody who can’t afford the bat or gear. Pay it forward!! The people who shop on this app are not honorable people!!!

Beware !! Lies and smoke and mirrors !!
If I could give a 0 star review I would! I received a helmet that looked great at first glance. Then, only 3 hours after I received it I switched the visor for a cage and that’s where I noticed the damaged area. The clear plastic visor clips were hiding where someone hid that the helmet was broken in multiple spots. There’s visible glue on it that’s still tacky! No buyer could have reasonably discovered that at first. 3 hours later, when trying to create a dispute for obviously breaking the seller rules, I was told that there’s nothing that could be done. However, it is clearly “damage that may had been concealed,” by someone. This falls under “undisclosed or unexpected damage, which is eligible for a dispute when reported within 72 hours of delivery.”
The helmet is unusable and unsafe. I have sent pictures documenting the damage to no avail.
Clearly no one was going to reasonably find the damage until switching from visor to cage. It’s crazy that this is acceptable to sideline swap, claiming it’s my fault I accepted it at first glance. Now, that it was found 3 hours later, only after switching the face shield do I find the damage!! Sideline swap and the seller should obviously do the right thing, and make the purchase right, provide a refund and I will ship the helmet back to the seller!

Communist and fascist tactics to force you to sell and pay their fees.
The fees are in no way mentioned as you create the account and list your item. When you do get an offer they force you to give them a verified payment method with over 400$ on it fsr. When you ask your offer maker if he can move to another service or even just a phone number your messages immediately get deleted and in my case we both got banned immediately aswell. 0/10 service do yourself a favor and never download ts you'll save a lot of time and headache.
