Great idea and app for measuring myopia / vision. Feedbacks Slightly confused why text size changes as I move the phone closer / away from the eyes (when one does the test with a paper with text, text stays the same size so just not sure why text changes size here - this also prevents from just focusing on the text).

Thanks. The text changes size as you move the phone closer or farther away so that the size of the text takes up the same angle size in your vision. This is the same idea as an eye chart on a wall 20 feet away has bigger text than an eye chart 10 feet away. This is done to counteract the the effect of moving it closer to your face to try and see the text more clearly which should make the test less subjective.
