Create an account

What a backwards way to “create and account”, when you need an invitation code that’s sent to the registering email, how can you register without a code and how do you get a code without creating an account. Stupid.

Nightmares

This app consistently refused for days to recognize my APPLE ID password, so I couldn’t download it to pay my doctor or access lab records. I used Apple to help me change my ID password to my iPhone to ensure I did it right, and was then was able to download the app to my iPhone. Then I shut off my iPhone and turned it back on to clear it and tried to use the SAME password I had used to download it, AND THIS STINKING APP REFUSED TO ACCEPT IT! One star is a GENEROUS rating! I tried to respond to the developer to tell them this AND THE APP REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE RATING. It just spun and spun. If I lose a doctor because of this garbage, I will be REALLY angry! I finally did get in hours after I wrote the above and recovered my first labs so I updated this from a 1 to a 2 star review, but it was like pulling teeth every step of the way, with help from Apple 4 times and having to change my Apple ID password AGAIN (and this app didn’t accept that the first time either, though it finally did today on the second try). I’ll sign out tonight with no assurance that it’ll still work tomorrow, but we’ll see. I built and used to supervise a Web Dev team considered by the Federal Government and industry to be the best they had, so I know what good code works like. This ain’t it.

Can’t make sppointments

My dr uses this app. I cannot make appointments with app. It only gives me the urgent care option and when I click that option there are no availabilities. I have done everything to fix this on my end so what can you do to fuc it?

Response from developer

Thanks for flagging this, and we're sorry for the frustration. Appointment availability in the app is set by your clinic — if you're only seeing urgent care with no open times, it usually means your clinic hasn't enabled self-scheduling for other visit types yet. The best next step is to reach out to your clinic and ask them to open up availability; their team controls which visits and times patients can book.

Not Impressed

Poor access and connect-ability… I tried to update, no place to do it! I’m bummed my clinic chose this app. I’ve tried to go to help or connect to the app, no response….👎

Response from developer

We're genuinely sorry the experience fell short. The best way to get this sorted is to reach out to your clinic's team — they can make sure you're set up with full access to everything you need. Your feedback helps us keep improving.

Good Beginning

I’m new to this and may change my review after a while. For now, I’ll just say it is easy to use which, when you are faced with some medical issue, if very comforting. It’s really good to know that you can get real, useful advice, from a known professional at any time of day or night. Did I also say reliable? It is!

Thank you — we're so glad it's been easy to use and reassuring when you need care. That's exactly what we're going for. Welcome aboard!

Intuitive and easy to use

I have difficulty mastering new software platforms but Sigma is a breeze. Simple, clean UI means there’s no confusion of buttons or menus. And the fact that my messages are integrated with my chart means everything is right at my doctor’s fingertips.

Response from developer

Thank you so much! We work hard to keep things clean and simple, and it's great to hear the chart-integrated messaging is helping you and your doctor stay connected.

Not good

Wow this implementation is just awful.

We’re sorry to hear this. Your feedback helps us improve, and we’d appreciate the chance to learn more about what didn’t work.

Phone-Only Is Unacceptable for Healthcare

Forcing patients into a mobile only platform for managing medical records is inexcusable. No web access, no tablet optimization; just a tiny phone screen for reviewing test results, medication lists, and appointment details. This creates serious accessibility problems for patients with vision issues or anyone coordinating complex care who needs proper screen space and keyboard access. Healthcare information is too important to cram onto a 6-inch display. Every modern healthcare platform offers multi-device access. The fact that SigmaMD doesn't shows a fundamental misunderstanding of how patients actually manage their health. Until they build a proper web interface, ask your doctor for a platform that respects basic usability.

Response from developer

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We agree that patients need flexible ways to access their health information. While SigmaMD is currently mobile-first, we’re actively working on a patient web portal designed for larger screens and improved accessibility, which will be released soon. We appreciate you taking the time to highlight this and help us improve.

I don’t have a invitation number to get in app

Response from developer

Access requires an invitation from your healthcare provider. If you haven’t received one, please contact your clinic for assistance.
