About

SII helps you understand what triggers your digestive symptoms and take back control, day after day. Designed for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and low-FODMAP diets, the app brings all your tracking together in one place: simply, without judgment, and keeping your data on your iPhone. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Quick journal: log a meal, a symptom or a bowel movement (Bristol scale) in a few seconds. • FODMAP database: 86 foods, each with its source. When something is not established, the app tells you instead of guessing. • Product scanner: scan a barcode (via Open Food Facts) and spot additives and ingredients known to trigger symptoms. • FODMAP reintroduction: test the groups one at a time with a guided protocol, and note your tolerance. • Meal plan: low-FODMAP meal ideas and a shopping list. • Complete tracking: hydration, mood, medications and menstrual cycle, to connect the dots. • Trends & export: see your trends and export a PDF report to show your doctor. • Reminders: hydration, medications and an evening check-in, at the time you choose. YOUR PRIVACY FIRST Your journal is stored on your device: no account, no sign-up, no ads, no trackers. The only thing the app sends out is the barcode you scan, to look it up in Open Food Facts. You can lock the app with a PIN or Face ID. IMPORTANT SII is a tracking and information tool. It does not provide a diagnosis and does not replace the advice of a healthcare professional. If your symptoms worry you, see a doctor.

What's New in SII

1.2

October 7, 2026

SII now speaks English. The whole app (screens, foods, articles, the report for your doctor) follows your iPhone's language: French on a French iPhone, English otherwise. Emergency numbers follow your region: 911 in the United States, 999 in the United Kingdom, 112 across the European Union. REINTRODUCTION FOLLOWS THE MONASH PROTOCOL One FODMAP group at a time: a test food for 3 days in a row, with a growing serving, then a 2 to 3 day break before the next test. The test foods are the ones Monash University recommends. ARTICLES SOURCED, SENTENCE BY SENTENCE Every statement in the library articles points to its source: medical guidelines and published studies. What no source supported was corrected or removed. A MORE HONEST DAILY SCORE As soon as a symptom is logged, the day can no longer show as "excellent", and the stronger the symptom, the lower the score. BETTER SEARCH What starts with what you type comes first, and accents are no longer needed, in the food search, the journal and your preferences. THE MEAL PLAN RESPECTS YOUR PREFERENCES A preference applies to the whole food: excluding apple no longer excludes recipes with potato. YOU SEE WHAT YOU TYPE With the keyboard open, the field stays visible and the screen no longer shifts. Tapping a field no longer zooms the whole app. EASIER TO READ, ESPECIALLY IN DARK MODE The app's colors, the field borders, the sliders and the FODMAP levels are readable in both themes. AI FEATURES ARE REMOVED The coach, the daily tip, the weekly review and photo analysis will not come back. Your journal goes nowhere: only the scanner contacts Open Food Facts.
