About
SiliconPass keeps your passwords in a vault that is encrypted on your device and stays that way.
THE VAULT
Your master passphrase is stretched with Argon2id — the memory-hard function designed to make guessing expensive — and, where your Mac or iPhone provides one, bound to the Secure Enclave. Every record is sealed individually.
FILLING
AutoFill works across apps and the web on iPhone, iPad and Mac: passwords, passkeys, and one-time codes.
A HANDLE OF ITS OWN
A unique password protects one account. A unique email alias hides your real address. But a username reused everywhere glues the accounts back together — so SiliconPass draws a distinct handle per site too, from ordinary French words you could actually say out loud.
BRINGING YOUR PASSWORDS
Credential Exchange transfers your credentials from Apple Passwords, 1Password or Bitwarden — the format those three now ship. The import report tells you exactly what arrived, what was degraded, and what was refused, because an import that quietly drops a field is worse than one that says so.
BREACH CHECKING, IF YOU WANT IT
Off by default. Turn it on and five characters of a hash leave your device — never the password, never the site. The comparison happens here.
ON THE MAC
An SSH agent serves your keys to the terminal from the same vault, so a private key never sits unencrypted in your home directory.
Keep your access factors and recovery material in a safe place.
