Waste of money
Do not purchase this useless app; it does not play any of my music from the Apple Store.
Good sound.
Can,t play itune music. I can’t play via Bluetooth on my bose speaker. Can,t play continuous music have to play individually after another. Can,t even create playlist. Media player absolutely rubbish not many options. Only good to me is the eq draw. Overall not impressive. Needs a lot of improvement.

What is the preset Q value
It would help, especially when using this app for live events, to know what the preset Q value is for each band. If the value is 1/3 octave, like most rack-mount 31-band EQs, then the app might be useful for suppressing feedback.
BAIT & SWITCH
Program does not perform as advertised. Great EQ functionalities for a single song in my library of 10,000 on my device, or for original music to record. But not the product I need which is simply a solid music player with great EQ functionality I can use with my Audiobus and a multi-room, multi-speaker Airplay Environment. Asking for a refund 90 minutes after I downloaded the app... ☹️

Great eq
If you need an equalizer, then I would recommend this one. Lots of control. Since the update, there is a cool way to edit, which is by drawing the eq curve. You can also use a set of sliders or alternate. It works very well and has an excellent interface.

Brilliant EQ App
Thank you. Adds real punch to a bass drum & sweetens your mix. Sculpt your sounds and hear the difference. It's so easy to use & to get unbelievably good, professional results. I use as an IAA but it's (eq)ually at home used in conjunction with Audiobus in the effects slot. Another excellent update. Kudos to you Sir.

As someone else mentioned in their review, yes please add a meter for level in and out. Otherwise, a 5 star app!
Awesome with Audiobus and Vocalive
So I used this with IRIG2 (hardware) the app Vocalive and Audiobus. In audiobus I send the vocalive effect signal to SILQ and the output to the ipad to my PA system. It sounds awesome! Only thing to add maybe is a save the preset for tweaks (update). It has a save but it looks to me like if I tweak a save I have to save a whole new setting when I would rather update the save.

Needs just a couple improvements
This is a FANTASTIC EQ. Easily worth the money. But there are a couple things that it lacks. The main thing that needs to be added is a way to monitor the incoming and outgoing levels. Without it you need to pipe the output into something else to make sure you levels are OK. And the other thing, which is pretty minor, would be more ways to get a file into and out of Silq. Otherwise it's a fantastic EQ and you won't be disappointed with it.

Great, solid first version. UI is easy to use, nicely laid out and gives me more control over the sound than other EQ's. I'm using this on an iPad mini as an insert effect on the master output in cubasis to sweeten the mix a bit and it works well. The thing that would make me come back and give it 5 stars would be if i could also load/paste unmastered wav mixes into the app and then export them as EQ'd wavs ready to be mastered. It is really good as an insert effect though. Good intro price too.
