Voice not working 99% of the time

I have bought couple of eSIMs for me and family for our holiday; however, you can’t guarantee that voice will work, line will just not go through most of the times. Barely you will be successful and be able to do a phone call. Called the customer support without success. I don’t recommend and will never buy from sim local again.

Best eSIM Service

Very simple and easy app to use. Huge amount of service countries. Most have no speed reductions on unlimited plans.

Just would like to add in the app the ability to purchase more than one eSIM at a time.

Super eSIM, super service

Don’t bother looking elsewhere. These are the best. Used all over different parts of Turkey and the Canaries. Never had any issues. Would highly recommend

Can't receive SMS code to register

Was told by tech support here that my SMS codes are being blocked by my cell provider. I'm in Canada with Virgin and never had this happen before. Other SIM providers allow for SMS codes to be received not just through cell, but WhatsApp and email.

Some minor bugs in app but great service

Whatsapp customer support was great. Good price for Japan and services is great.

Coverage

It has a good coverage in Europe but DO NOT use it for Dominican Republic, no coverage no internet and calls don’t connect at all, there’s a automated message when you dial and then disconnects. It was a waste of money for it

Try something else

Purchased unlimited data plan, which promised 4G/5G. It has been 3G or less for the first week now. I had thought it was just the area I was in, until I spoke with other travelers who had alternative plans - they were totally fine!!! 5G, was able to load pages 10x faster than I was able to. Really frustrating as this was not cheap. Tried to reach out, but it took over half a day for network to ask me to confirm the same information I already provided. Then I was told by agent they would need to hear back from network again. By the time they respond again, my trip would be nearly over.

First time using an e-sim, definitely not the last!

We are in the UK, visiting from Canada. A friend recommended we give it a try. Works great using Whatsapp for messaging. Can use safari and other phone functions effortlessly. Saved us about $300cdn from our carrier. Easy to install. Will use on our next trip without a doubt!

Excellent eSIM for Travel!

I recently used a Sim Local eSim for a 3-week trip and I was very happy with my experience! Setup through the app was easy and the connection speeds were fast. I bought a 20GB eSim that lasted 30 days, so I didn’t have to worry about running out data on my trip. I was constantly connected to the fastest networks and didn’t have to worry about incurring roaming fees from my home mobile provider. I highly recommend this app and their eSims. I’ll be using Sim Local again the next time I travel!

Quickest. Easiest. Best Value.

Looked at a number of apps and websites. Used on iPad mini rather than phone so don’t need the minutes. Good rates with EE network which worked well. Used ‘sign in with Apple’. Selected an EE plan which was on offer. Paid using PayPal although Apple Pay available. Within 5 mins or less I was up and running. Checked out various other apps and websites and this was most convenient and best priced. Also there was very quick Whatsapp support when I had a question whether I could take the cheaper sim with minutes as well v. Data only.
