FS2020 Nav Sync
Nave settings don’t sync with FS2020 G1000. I won’t buy the basil until this is fixed. I’m using two iPads and the program otherwise it works perfectly.
Good app
I like the app, no issues so far. I have one concern though, is it possible to change the location of the aircraft on the MFD ?
Hangs and Crashes Every Time
I’ve been using the Simionic G1000 MFD for a few weeks now. I’m using it standalone (no sim attached, nothing). I’m on the Apple iPad Pro 13” M4 (2024) model with 2TB capacity.
While it works great for a little while (maybe 10 minutes or so), I can always count on it to freeze up. Many times, it will also crash (disappear). It is very frustrating.
To be honest, I wouldn’t spend any money on this if you are contemplating buying it.
The PFD is also buggy, exhibiting similar freezes and crashes.
They work great until they don’t. They both freeze and crash every time. Sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes I can use the app a little longer before I can’t use it.

Doesn't integrate
BEWARE if you want to use this app with MS Flight Simulator, it doesn't integrate with flight plans created in FS. Instead you have to enter new flight plans in this app, using fiddly controls to enter codes one letter at at time using the rotary controller. If you have a plane with its own G1000, then the 2 will fight for control on autopilot. It effectively acts as a separate unit giving the sim its own input from its own AP. So while it does act as a G1000 MFD, it doesn't integrate fully into the app.

SIMIONICS G1000. PDF and MFD and NXi
I have been using SIMIONICS Flight simulator products for the last two years. This product uses Bluetooth and WiFi technology to connect to X-Plane 11,12; P3D v5, and MSFS 2020 effortlessly. I am presently Beta testing the G1000 PFD and MFD NXi that will soon be available to the flight simulation general population. I also have used FlightSimGear products which will deliver your flight simulation immersion as well. I’m just super impressed on the technology behind the SIMIONICS panel products which allows me to duplicate my lessons after I leave the airport.

May not be what you expect
If you are looking for integration with a flight simulator this is not what you are expecting. You can not execute a flight plan in the sim or control the sim G1000 from this app. It does not talk to x-plane other than very basic parameters such as position and engine data.
If you need an app to learn the G1000 system this may be what you are looking for. Garmin makes a PC based trainer but not an iPad app.

Trash
Wanted it to see if I can use the mixture. Was a waste of time and money wish I can return it and get my money back
Not worth spending money on
App doesn’t really work, seams like a bata version and doesn’t recognize my inputs. Your location is always set in china. You’re better off just watching YouTube videos
Very happy, but…
Bought the PFD months ago, and so happy with the results, a definetly recommended tool to improve your skills with the G1000, and become a master with thr real system while airborne..
Today I’ve bought the MFD, as I want to improve my skills on it, and also so happy once exploring all its functionalities
The only problem I am having is that there is no way to pair both iPads, as despite being connected to the same local network, neither the PFD detects the MFD, nor the way round:(
Any clue how to troubleshot that?
Thank you!

Need clarity of app requirement
The app requirement, in my opinion is misleading. In my case I just wanted the MFD, but I could not get it to work with MSFS2020. The support (or lack there of) was difficult to obtain any help. I searched YouTube for anything that could help and found one obscure video that the MFD needs to connect to the PFD app, which in turn connects to the flight sim.
C'mon guys...if I'm gonna sink $15CAD, you BETTER make this clear from the get-go. This isn't rocket science. Your site needs work.
Buyer beware.

MUST HAVE PFD???!
I don’t have the PFD app. I have a RealSimGear PFD and purchased this to use as the mfd. it won’t work without another iPad running the PFD
WASTE OF MONEY
This app would be ok, but unless you have two ipads and get the PFD app on one this won't move the airplane. I have bought both apps on one iPad and that won't work. The MFD is a waste of money. Plus the directions are horrible and difficult to even find.
Good app with horrible connection with PFD app
The app itself is great, but the WiFi connection with the PFD is incredibly flaky - I frequently have to spend 5-10 minutes trying to get them to connect, usually mid-flight too.
Terrible FMS Control - You can’t scroll at all
I got this device to help transition from 30 years of flying steam gauges. Most flight sims don’t include the aux menu so I bought this product to review the cockpit instrument check. The FMS “knob” is so difficult to use it’s almost useless. You need to hit the iPad screen repeatedly just to get the menu to appear, then it disappears before you have a chance to pick your selection. Is there any way to adjust how long the FMS “knob” remains active? If it was user configurable, or if you simply doubled the amount of time the knob was active, MAYBE it would be worth 4+, but as of now, it’s a solid 2.

Good for training
I passed the G1000 checkride yesterday in a Cessna 172S NAV III, transitioning from steam gauges. The Simionic simulators were an invaluable tool that I highly recommend to anybody wanting to learn the G1000 to fly an actual aircraft. Every single task the CFI wanted to see me perform I was able to do without any hesitation or problem. Thanks to Simionic for an excellent learning tool!

Looks nice, would like sim support without PFD
To enable single iPad usage, it would be a lot nicer to connect the MFD directly to the sim without needing the PFD running as well
Difficult to use controls
This is a great app and seems to emulate the G1000 very well, however I find the controls are way to difficult to use. Given that the iPad has a keyboard why not use the keyboard for entering waypoints?? Or at least make the plus and minus buttons when you press the knob should stay up for at least 5 seconds instead of the approx half a second currently. If it used the keyboard for entry it would be a 5 star app.
Also agree with previous comment re making available for Cirrus Vision Jet. Would definitely purchase that option.

Needs Cirrus aircraft including Vision Jet
Great app. As a retired Airline Captain I find this app an enjoyable way to get some stick time and practice instrument procedures using X-Plane. Would like to see something a bit more complex than the C-172 and a bit faster on final. Cirrus aircraft including the Vision Jet would be a great addition.

Waste
Save your time and money, poor functionality and not usefully to learn G1000.
Very Disappointed
This app is very difficult and frustrating to use, and there is no user guide to help that I can find. You can spend hours spinning your wheels and getting nowhere.
