Simple - Easy

I love how simple this is. I didn’t want to count calories. Or add my food from a pre made list from an app. I just wanted something that I can keep track of what I eat. I love that I can add a photo of my meal. Definitely happy that I found this app. I have not upgraded to the Pro/premium version. But I may do that in the future. I checked out the price and it wasn’t bad. Like $25 for the year.

Finally, something easy and not too complicated

Sure. It’s great when you can make the time to identify each food that you eat, each brand of food you eat calculate the calories that you eat, and have a Fan-dangled water counter to boot. Most people don’t have time for this. This is more straightforward, you can even take pictures of the food you’re eating and very easily log your meals. A food diary for the rest of us. And I think this is really going to help me keep track of what I’m eating. I’m diabetic, have high blood pressure, and severe arthritis.
Keeping track of things is really important this app is going to help me do that. Highly recommend.

Simple

I like this app because it is incredibly simple. This works perfectly for me to track what I eat and drink throughout the day so I don’t forget! I love that you can log photos as well.

If you’re looking to track specifics like calories this is not what you’re looking for. But if you want to track your habits and be able to look back at an overview, it’s great.

Allow Better Edits

i really enjoy this app because it provides a simple way for journaling the food tou est throughout the day, among other things. The only thing i wish could be changed was allowing a better edit option. So far, the only edits tou can make is just the description, not the calories or anything else. Sometimes i don’t finish my food and would like to change the amount of calories i ate to keep better track and i just can’t do that.

Easy tracker!

I love this tracker and how easy it is to use. I have been using for awhile now, and I like that everything is in one place. I love that I can customize the fonts and colors. It’s the best, most convenient tracker I’ve found

I would love it if you could save foods and workouts to choose from each day. I often eat the same thing for certain meals, and do a workout program with multiple days, and it would be great if I could have those saved and just quickly tap it to add it.

Best app I’ve found for staying on track!

Like the title says, I appreciate the simplicity of this app. I can easily log what I eat throughout the day and (try) to keep on top of water intake. I’ve used many apps in the past that became over bearing or made me feel bad because I’d eat over the recommended calorie amount allotted. So after finding ways to overcome my eating disorder and realizing counting calories was a trigger, all those apps were out. This app helps me to be consistent, makes me feel confident in my choices, and is so user friendly. I wish I had found this app sooner!

Recommendation

Hello,
I find this app very helpful and convenient. It does a lot for being free and has helped me along with my recent diagnosis of having Crohn’s disease. Many of the apps I use on a daily basis have a widget (iPhone users, exc.) and I think a widget of some sort would be a very helpful interface and make the app access less time consuming. I appreciate this app and hope many others find this for their wellness timeline. It has created a wellness diary for myself and has held my hand through my diet changes and restrictions.
Thank you.

Everything you need if you prefer simple

Not a lot of extras in this app .. you get to journal your food in your own words- no multiple choices to select from for foods as you might get in an app such as myfitnesspal .. you can track calories on this app but you’d have to look them up yourself .. no ads .. this is just like having a pen and paper journal except you use your phone. I have very much enjoyed it.

Simple to use but helpful with tracking food without obsessing!

I have a rough relationship with food, and calorie counting can become obsessive and unhealthy for me. I enjoy this app (I just use the free version) because it allows me to track what I’m eating but doesn’t automatically throw numbers at me.

I like that it’s a daily thing to do, and it’s quick an easy to use. I also like that each day you can add photos of your body, weight numbers, and even photos of your food! It’s a quick and easy way to put a visual to what you’re doing.

I’m hoping to lose some weight, but know that my eating is what needs to be adjusted before anything else. This app is helping me keep track of what I’m eating so I can see any trends when it comes to weigh-ins and what not.

Visually appealing and easy to use, looking forward to seeing what using this consistently for a couple of months will do for my health!

Simple, Flexible, but needs some things

I’ve been searching for something that can track it all in one place: food, water, sleep, medication, symptoms. I need a user-friendly platform so I can have more success trying to build the new habit of recording everything. This app is the best I’ve found (even with my ADHD brain!) I’ve been using it for months and there’s only a few suggestions I would LOVE to see happen.

Please include sleep tracking (recording hours and quality of sleep)

Please, please, please create an option to export data from all categories so I can see correlations between the different categories. I’d like to be able to see how often I get headaches, for example. Or how often I exercise and how that connects to my sleep patterns.

Thanks for creating a great app! Hopefully these suggestions are possible!

Best & kindest tracker app in existence.

This app trusts you to track whatever you want to track, for whatever purpose, and provides neither encouragement nor judgment. It is neutral. It is your tool for your health. It doesn’t tell you what your health should be. It doesn’t bully you. It doesn’t congratulate you. You can track anything in notes. Mood, if you want. Salt intake. Anything!

This app *so much* doesn’t want to bully you that you can choose to eliminate options from the “add entry” menu. So you never have to see calories, weight, meds, w/e. Have one option if you want.

Foodility is the kindest and most useful tracker I’ve ever found. It is the most flexible. It is the most informative, because *you* put in the info that’s relevant. The app doesn’t make you fill in data that it wants to see.

I am thrilled about this thing.

Super simple, non-triggering journal app

I was looking for something that would support my goal of developing a healthier relationship to food and exercise. I wanted to be able to see what I was consuming each day, so I could be sure I was honestly looking at how much or how little I was eating, whether I was getting a good balance of nutrition, and to note how what exercise I did and how my choices each day were making me feel. This app is perfect for that. No goals or calories or suggested meal plans or anything that is triggering for anyone who has struggled with diet culture or a unhealthy relationship to food or exercise. This app just allows you to track what you need to in a non-judgemental way. I am glad to have found it!

Great app if you have ED tendencies

I wanted a simple app to keep track of food for dietary reasons, but most of the food tracking apps focus on calories and notify you if you go over your allotted calories for the day. Some of them, like My Fitness Pal, set calorie limits that are way under what any adult should be eating. This app is simple, easy to use, and it doesn’t pressure me to track my calories or my weight.

So simple

I love that I can use this app without paying premium. Premium would add some simplicity to using it but I can still make the app work for me without paying monthly or yearly. This is the BEST tracker app I have ever used and I have tried many others, premium and not. This by far beats them all. I can track food, water, exercise, meds, weight, and add notes. I can export via pdf single categories without paying premium. Also with food you have the option to add a calorie count but you do not HAVE to like some tracker apps. For some people, like myself, that helps a lot.
This is by far the best tracking app I have ever used.

Best Health Journal

Foodility is simple, intuitive, and elegant- exactly what I had been looking for in a health journal. I have used Foodility since 2019 and have still not found a better health tracking app. I love that I can track everything in one place, that it is perfectly organized, and that there aren’t cumbersome bells and whistles. Thank you to the app designers!

I do have one suggestion. For those of us who eat the same meals often, it would be very helpful to be able to log an entry for multiple days at once. For example, I would like to be able to click to log breakfast and choose multiple dates and times, rather than a single day. Then, when I press “log”, the entry would show up on all the dates. If thats possible to develop, it would make the app experience even better. Thanks for considering!

Half baked

App does provide the ability to record ones meals, exercise, water, calories, weight, medications, and general notes. But making entries requires too many navigational and other clicks. User interface is clunky, as if written by a kid who had never been on a diet before. There are premium features, which I have paid for, but the app refuses to let me use the premium features despite the fact that the app quite efficiently bills my credit card every month. I intend to unsubscribe and delete the app once I find something better; which shouldn’t be hard. The saying is “Well begun, half done”; not “Half done, well begun”. Anyway you slice it, this app is neither well begun or half done. It is half-baked, and as such it is starting to get annoying.

Great! Wish it could sync with Apple health

I just downloaded the app a few days ago, and i love it! it’s a very easy to use app and it really helps me keep track of things. i love that i can set up reminders for drinking water, meals, weight, etc. however, i do wish that this information could be somehow synced with apple health, but other than that i love this app. if there is a way to sync the info, please let me know! again, i’m new to it so maybe i just haven’t found it yet. :)

Wonderful app! Feature suggestion!

A truly utilitarian food diary app. As a clinical nutritionist, I would love to use this with my clients for creating food logs, however the only limitation is that each type of data needs to be exported as it’s own PDF. (I don’t want my clients to have to send me so many documents). If you could export all of the data in one document with different columns, that would be tremendous!

Really Enjoy But Needs Improvements

I love being able to see immediately a calendar of the whole month and what days I tracked what. It’s so awesome. Like everyone else has said, the simplicity is amazing for tracking. That being said, there are some things I think need to be fixed. For example, I don’t see why when I’m logging “meal” I have to choose “meal” again, or when I’m logging “exercise” I have to choose “exercise” again. It feels redundant. Also, I really find it quite irritating when I type in what I ate, there is no check button to leave the typing space and choose what meal it was, etc.

But thanks for a great app and hope to see improvements!

Simple, reliable food tracker!

I was unsure, but this app is great! Food trackers have felt a little annoying in the past but this app tracks exercise, weight, medicine, and water intake in addition to meals. There are no ads, and you can fill in details such as which meal it is, how many calories, and the app keeps track of the date and time. You can opt for notifications and write a note about the date under a general note section which I've found helpful! I would definitely recommend!!
