Good lord, at last
A breath of fresh air. Had to scroll a bit as always and the thing I wanted appeared before me! A simple widget that showed the phase of the moon. But it also doesn’t scrub my phone’s data for my info! Hopefully. It just works! How odd that I have to go out of my way to acknowledge an app that does just what it says on the tin. Good gravy. Almost perfect
Everything about the app itself is perfect, but the image of the moon phase is not showing up when I try to set home screen widgets. It shows up as a white circle for me.

The Moon and nothing but the Moon. All I wanted and nothing I didn't want. I wish more apps were created with this sensibility.
Simple and practically perfect
This is a great little lightweight app & widget that do one thing extremely well: show a photo-realistic view of the current moon phase for your location. I tried a ton of other bloated apps that include weather or astrology nonsense that I don’t want. I wanted a square widget of the moon phase and this app fits the bill. My only minor complaint is that moonrise and moonset data aren’t showing up for me.
