Gurbani Shouldn’t Be Behind a Paywall 🙏

Its disappointing that you have to pay to access basic features like listening to paath and reading Gurbani. Spirituality and connecting with Waheguru shouldn’t be locked behind a paywall. People should be able to read Gurbani, listen to paath, and learn more about Sikhi without having to pay for it.

I understand developers need to cover their costs, but putting essential spiritual content behind a subscription doesn’t feel right. There are many people who genuinely want to get closer to God and learn more about Sikhi, but may not be able to afford another subscription. 🙏

Honest Review

Keep it up, people might say the app is expensive but I know the app developers are trying to make it accessible for everyone. The Truth is some can’t afford the app but hopefully in the near future this app may become cheaper or easier to access. As a 18 yr old I completely understand both the developers and Gurbani learners. But let’s both support the mission of learning from our Gurus teachings. Developers I believe you guys have employees to pay but may want to include some cheaper plans that are limited to an extent, and may want to add extra funding options to support your growth which some may contribute a bit e.g a months plan for £7.99 or a weekly plan of £2.99 (it catches attention and doesn’t seem like too much). Basically more plan options available when I saw the plan it said £30 something it threw me off so just work on that side abit. I see your guys hard work and commitment so don’t worry as God is with you. I’m really proud of you guys for even thinking of creating an app to spread our Gurus teachings.success isn’t far away if you remain truthful. Take care

Great App!!!

I have been using Simran for a little bit now and it has truly helped me deepen my understanding of gurbani. One of the features I really like is AI chat. It explains everything so beautifully and gives me the meaning and small actions I can take to apply the teachings in my real life. It would be really nice to be able to have a chat history in the app. I screenshot when I want to remember something but it would be great to have that functionality in the future. Overall, really great app!!!

AI SOMETIMES CRASHES

The Simran AI is pretty good and answers questions nicely. However, sometimes when the question is too long, it crashes, but most of the time works well. Nevertheless, I would urge the team to expand the Simran AI to encompass more questions and deliberations like from Sikh authors and Sikh teachers like by Bhai Maskeen Singh ji.

Too many glitches

It does not update the daily saying and options when i opts for it . It’s more of a static version . Presently not a good option to buy

Honestly, the app is very well made with many features that would bring many closer to sikhi in a modern and digital way which is easily accessible. However, the subscription was a disappointment as many age groups like under 18s might not be able to access the app or people that cannot afford it. A big let down since the aim is to connect people to waheguru but I guess app creators are more interested in gathering maya.

You shouldn’t put a price on helping people grow closer to Sikhi, that’s not at all what the religion’s about. Sikhi is all about learning freely and using the teachings from others goodwill to grow closer to Waheguru, it should not be made into a money making scheme.

Needs autoscroll feature

Needs autoscroll feature as audio is going please then it will be five stars. Its hard for me to scroll and keep up with my finger. Other apps have autoscroll and it highlights as it moves down. thank you
