SIMS connects to your personal BLE awareness device to help you stay aware of your surroundings while you move. Whether you're running, cycling, or walking alone, SIMS keeps you informed about who's approaching from behind — so you can stay focused on the road ahead. Your wearable device uses an onboard camera and on-device detection to recognize when a person approaches from the rear. The moment someone is detected, SIMS alerts you instantly on your iPhone and lets you view the captured image, so you stay aware without constantly looking over your shoulder. When you want someone to know where you are, SIMS makes it easy to send a text message with your current location to contacts you've chosen in advance. You stay in control: messages are only sent when you decide to send them, and only to your own selected contacts. SIMS never contacts emergency services or authorities on your behalf.
