About
Find the film recipe behind your photo. SimuLook helps Fujifilm photographers read camera settings, explore new looks and keep a recipe library ready for the next shoot.
READ A RECIPE FROM A PHOTO
Choose a supported original Fujifilm JPEG with its camera metadata intact. Read its film simulation, white balance and other available settings, then save a recipe. No cable or account is needed for this local workflow.
PREVIEW AND EDIT YOUR LOOK
Compare up to six software previews. Adjust light, colour and effects, crop and straighten, add frames or text, and copy edits between results. Software previews help compare a direction; in-camera results can differ.
KEEP YOUR RECIPES TOGETHER
Save favourites, organise your own recipes and import or export settings. Add a sample photo so you can remember the look and share it clearly.
DISCOVER AND SHARE
Browse community recipes and find settings for your style. Sign in to publish a recipe with a sample photo, follow photographers, comment and message. Share a recipe or profile with a link.
FREE TO START
Local recipes, community browsing, supported-photo reading and supported camera C1–C7 reading/backup are free. Optional Premium unlocks verified camera writing. Writing is limited to supported settings on X100VI firmware 1.32; compatibility is checked in the app. No purchase is needed to explore recipes.
Available on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

What's New in SimuLook
1.0.12
October 16, 2026
More complete recipe transfers for X100VI firmware 1.32: verified white balance modes, Color, Sharpness, High ISO NR -4/0 and custom slot names. Every write is read back, and partial transfers clearly show failed or skipped settings. White balance dependencies and slot checks help keep transfers consistent. Half-step highlight and shadow values remain exact. ISO and exposure ranges appear separately as shooting guidance.
