Yk whats crazy? Charging people to share their feelings and ask for help, but hey I cant blame you for wanting to make money in this type of economy.
Used to be really good but..
I’ve been using this app for a very long time now and it’s been a great way to vent or ask for advice without feeling guilty or embarrassed. I’ve even made some amazing friends on here which I’m still friends with today.
But in one of the recent updates you can only read one letter every day unless you watch more ads. Which I’m sorry to say just ruins the purpose of the app.
Most people won’t willingly want to watch an ad and so this means that your letters would hardly reach anyone. And even if it did reach some people, not everyone would have advice to what you’re writing in your letter.
It’s a shame the app has changed to be this way because I would truly recommend it to anyone who struggles with talking about their feelings and wants to get advice from other people. I hope the developers could change it back to how it was before with fewer ads so the app could work better again and could actually serve its purpose.

No more subscriptions
Cool concept in theory, but deleted as soon as the bait-and-switch began telling me I can’t continue with the app without a free trial. We shouldn’t have to pay money for something that is basically the 2020s version of PostSecret or Whisper.
App logs me out of my account and deletes it
Sincerely always logs me out and deletes my account, then why I try to make a new account it doesn’t let me, fix this issue and I’ll come back to the platform
Review
This app back when it was made was very good. It did help me a lot. Now though it’s really bad, everything is locked behind a paywall, nobody reads your letters or responds, and it’s full of ads and bugs.

I am really liking this app. You have to pay for it to get better things like write more frequently and see other people messages. Other than that people message you on your post and up lift up. You can also add them as a friend and be the first to see what they post. I really do recommend this app.

App used to be good
I used to be on this app all the time. writing responses to people and trying my best to be anonymously helping others while sometimes venting myself. Everything used to be free. I could read 3-4 notes a day and reply to them then make my own and wait for responses. No I have to wait a day to read a second note?? As well as the fact that an ad right after reading one?? This is incredibly greedy and this app used to be incredible. I hate what it’s become

After enjoying this for months I am genuinely so disappointed
So I just opened the app. I’ve had a lot of people motivate me and I myself helped a lot of people as well in the last year.
Now I open it and read the first letter, then watch an ad AND WHEN I CLICK THE SECOND LETTER, “watch an ad to continue”.
Yeah no. Genuinely that’s f-ed up. You already can only read three letters per day, now it’s just one?! Are you seriously that desperate for money? Because I was considering a subscription after using the app for a while and enjoying it a lot but trying to force me into a subscription in this disgusting way? Nah you lost me. I really love the app so I’ll stay for a bit in hopes of it getting a change, I mean I’m level 7 from 8, I was genuinely using and loving this app. But if that won’t get better I’m out. This is bs, three letters weren’t much anyways, now only one?!
For anyone who wants to watch a whole 30s to 1min ad for a letter that is about three sentences long, people love trauma dumping without using the tw option in here too. So have fun with this ig. Rip to a really cool and helpful app.
“The subscription lets you chat with our ai limitlessly!”. That’s so f-ng stupid btw, giving mentally ill or people who need to vent an ai assistant to talk to? Just ew even if that’s now new.

Someone made me feel bad while I was struggling
Someone on this app told me very mean things on this app. This should be taken seriously. I seriously thought there was something wrong with me. I literally spiraled the whole day thinking about the response I got from this user named Trukfit. I suffer with mental health problems. I didn’t think this would be bad. So I’m typing this review because I’m genuinely so upset. I have so many things going on my life and I genuinely thought this app would be a safe space for me 😔

Everything used to be free
This app used to be five stars but it sucks now. You used to be able to draw, add music, read as many letters as you want, and kinda have an anonymous friend for free. This app is greedy and plays an add right after reading ONE letter. The limit is two now and you have to pay to unlock more. This app used to be fun and FREE!!!

Too many ads or paying for stuff that used to be free
I used to be able to read a few letters a day. Now it lets me read one and I have to watch an ad just to read another one. Like isnt the point of this app to help people just like how we need help? If anyone knows a better app that’s similar lmk !
Money grab
This used to be an app where you could see as many messages as you wanted without having to watch an ad every second. it’s turning into nothing but a money grab and it’s pathetic. This used to be an app where people could feel safe and heard without having to watch a series of advertisements, just to help others

Pay to help people??
The pricing is ridiculous for an app that helps others. I used up the free trial and now I guess I’ll delete the app. $7.99/week or $29.99/year is wild. An app to help others should not be that expensive.
Can’t even read multiple letters without a stupid ad anymore
I’ve used this app for roughly almost 5 years now and the longer I’ve used it the worse it’s gotten, especially recently because, apparently, you can’t even read more than one letter without either paying a subscription or watching an ad. I swear this app has gotten worse and worse the longer it’s been. If you really want to vent or anonymously post somewhere, I’d suggest going someplace else.

The Dev ruined it
They ruined an amazing mental health app in favour of profit all the original features are paywalled and have timers that won’t allow you to read more of other peoples letters unless you upgrade

To communicate with strangers possibly Help a stranger paying that much a week seems to be really expensive and it’s just Random BS sometimes and it may not be to those people but it is to a lot of people and you’re gonna pay that much a week. I doubt I will pass the three day membership. Try it out before you buy it.

Die App ist eine gute Idee, hat aber einfach kleine Macken. Leider bekommt man selten Antworten, auch wenn man selbst 10 Leuten am Tag hilft. Was mich am meisten gestört hat: mir wurde eine 3-Tägige Testphase angeboten. Ich habe diese angenommen und nach nur einem Tag wurde mir Geld abgebucht. Leider habe ich nach 2 Tagen feststellen müssen, dass die App mich mental eher runterzieht als zu helfen und dieses Geld ist jetzt verloren. Warum es einfach abgebucht wurde ist mich nicht klar. Vllt gelten die 3 Tage nicht stundenweise sondern nach angebrochenem Tag einer anderen Zeitzone.
