Not Free. Thats sad

I guess for lonely people to feel validated you have to pay this very very simple platform. Not worth installing as it’s an immediate pay wall. “Free trial” means nothing honestly. It charges you weekly which is HILARIOUS

Response from developer

Hi! :), we apologize for any confusion. The free trial is intended to give users a chance to experience the full potential of our platform before deciding to subscribe. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration for future improvements. Thank you for trying out Sincerely. - The Sincerely Team

Be warned

As a psychologist I have to exercise people take caution using this. I tried it and gave a real life personal example in which I was reaching out for advice and support. Sadly the person who responded lacked any empathy or understanding avd severely compounded my struggle. It’s reliant on people replying with kindness which wasn’t my experience

i regret updating this app

i mean, really? i don't mind subscriptions, but it kind of baffles me that now you need one to send emoji reactions? or to open the next letter if you've responded to 2-3 of them?

i understand needing to make money to keep an app running, but it's not cool to make an entire app for helping people or letting someone know they aren't alone (even if it's just by emojis!), then lock it behind a subscription...

and i saw something about chatting with sincerely AI? seriously? i feel like this app is meant for human connection. why would you add an AI, which is inevitably going to end up costing more?

i still love this app, but these decisions are questionable to me.

GREAT APP!

This app is so amazing and helpful. I’m so happy that I came across it. When I use it, I feel a lot better. It’s been able to make me smile and look forward to something.
But there are bugs that irritate me. When I scroll to see past conversations, the screen blacks out. Please fix this

Only $20 a month! Nice.

This app used to be amazing. I used it back when it was new. I stopped using it for awhile and when I come back, I have to pay?!? What the heck Devs??? 7.99 a week? Or 20.99 a year?

I honestly can’t believe it. An app meant for mental health of course turns into a money grab. I can only view one letter every 14 HOURS. And, to top that off, there’s ads every time I click any letters. I’m in complete shock. It is so sad to see this world run purely on capitalism. Nothings free anymore. I don’t plan to ever use your app again.. and that breaks my heart.

The app was once amazing, not it’s not worth it unless you don’t care about wasting $20.99 a month.

Used to be good!

I’ve had this app for a good long while and in the beginning it was good! You could reply to so many “letters” an ad would pop up every now and again but it wasn’t annoying but now? So many ads! and now a paywall?! This app was advertised to be a place where people can anonymously post and get help with anything and now it just feels like ANOTHER money grabbing app, it’s so disappointing. HOW has this app got worse?! Opening replies makes the screen go fully grey! Opening the app makes every notification sound 10X louder, ads are EVERYWHERE now my god this app is pointless!

Good to vent, crashes too much tho.

Honestly it’s cool but it crashes so much and the messages barely update.

Love

Love this, wish it was free! I feel like I’m really helping someone and that shouldn’t have a cost or price tag.

Won’t allowed me to log

Kicked me out and won’t allowed me to log back in.

Misleading

A free app on the app store, but once you open it there's a subscription. Find a forum or something to talk to people anonymously, don't pay to talk to people.

Good app but

It’s easy and exactly what you’d need to vent: just write your stuff and put it out. Most people, I’d assume, want some kind of recognition and or feedback. Usually there’s some helpful stuff that gets sent back but most of the time, and I really do beg for the developers to remove this feature, you get spammed solely with emoji reactions. Not only is it insincere but it’s distasteful. I get some use the app as Twitter in a sense and just write little thoughts but some are actually venting and being vulnerable. I don’t get the point in an emoji response. Otherwise, the app does it purpose

Scam.

This app is extremely misleading when it comes to their “free trial”. I wanted to see what the app was like, and used it for a day, and canceled the same day during the free trial. I was still trying to be charged by Apple afterward and immediately subscribed for a year subscription even though I didn’t approve it. Mind you many other people have made the same complaint. As a result my entire Apple account is on hold for a charge I didn’t not approve. The App is supposed to be marketed as self help but it’s nothing like you think at all. Disappointing.

🩷🫶🏽love this app

I really love what Sincerely is creating. 🤍 It gives people a space to slow down, express themselves, share meaningful thoughts, and actually connect with others on a deeper level.

I especially appreciate being able to share things that may encourage or inspire someone who needs to hear them. Sometimes one simple message can reach someone at exactly the right moment.

Sincerely feels refreshing because it’s about genuine connection, kindness, and meaningful conversations—not just scrolling. ✨

Definitely an app worth exploring if you’re looking for a more intentional way to connect with people.

They changed to get more adverts in

It was a great app helping and talking to people. But then they decided to add adverts/sub access to every letter which they never used to. Kinda feels like they are more focused on making money from adds and sub than allowing a safe space for people to vent or seek advice. Ashame really. Kinda killed the vibe. They should listen to people’s complaints because they are loosing members and stop saying they are trying to “improve the app” when in fact this is a massive downgrade. Move away from the needs to make money, and focus on a space that helps me gain support. That is more important.

QoL

The app is amazing, I’d love to be able to read old conversations, every time I scroll up too fast everything disappears. I have the latest version of OS and application. Perhaps a way to download the chat for the amazing friends we’ve made along the way. Keep up the good work.

Great app

Been using this app for a year or two, can't remember, and have enjoyed using it. It's an app I go back to every now and then to vent my thoughts out. One thing I would change however, which is a VERY SMALL CHANGE, is being able to add a reason into why you're reporting something. Honestly sometimes I've forgotten that there are no reason checkmarks or dialogue boxes or anything and end up submitting a report💀

Capitalizing on the need for human interaction

For once it would be nice if one of these apps weren’t trying to charge a monthly fee to reach out to other human beings and talk. Sad.

Idk why we have to PAY to write notes

I don’t know why we have to PAY money to write anonymous notes to another person, which is ridiculous, but other than that this is a really cool idea/social interaction and great way for people to connect over some hard times.

Keine Region nichts.
