This update makes SinceWhen an even better days since tracker for your irregular chores. We focused on keeping your routine log clean, fast, and built around your actual life. Here is what is new in version 1.9.0: • Organize with Categories: You can now group your events into specific categories like home maintenance, pet care, or plant care. Your Home screen now features clean filter chips at the top so you can instantly switch between views. • Pin and Hide Events: Take total control of your chore tracker. Pin your most critical reminders to the top, or tuck the seasonal tasks you rarely need to see into a new hidden section to keep your list clutter-free. • A Massive Icon Upgrade: We vastly expanded the icon library and organized them into clean Apple-style groups. It is now much faster to find the perfect visual cue, keeping your log highly scannable and ADHD-friendly. • Smart Siri Shortcuts: We added a powerful new Apple Shortcuts action: "Log if due, else tell next due." It checks if a task is actually overdue before recording a voice log, and if not, Siri tells you exactly when it is next expected. • Faster, Safer Menus: The long-press menu on the Home screen has been polished. Very handy app

It’s very useful to be able to make a list of things I know I should do or want to do regularly and then have an easy dashboard where I can log when they actually happen. This helps put life into perspective and really helps to realign with what is most important in life. When I look at my log and see that I haven’t spent time with my little boy in a few days or even a week, that is an uncomfortable amount of time and reminds me that this is what I should be doing. Same goes for regular tasks that should be done on a schedule but sometimes aren’t such as computer backups, scanning accumulated receipts into PDF and filing them away, going outside to simply take a walk, etc. This is better than a recurring task list because the task list can be pushed aside while SinceWhen simply silently tracks how long its been since the last time this happened. No judgement, no nag. Just a simple reminder.

Just the right features

This is a simple, elegant, and useful app, and it suits my needs perfectly. I don’t want nagging or gamification, I just want to easily log when I’ve done something, see when I last did it, and dig into my history of I want to. The feature set is just right, and the developer is very responsive, too.
