Regrettable that Payroller who had previously committed to providing a free STP compliant app for microemployers, are now charging an inflated monthly subscription for all (unless merely 1 employee) which is actually significantly more than Reckon Payroll (the app I dropped, lured by the Payroller promise of an ongoing free service for microemployers). I understand that there is a cost in designing, hosting and supporting a "loss leader free service" however I am outraged that a more expensive monthly subscription is now charged even for microemployers and to do it right in the middle of a financial year is unconscionable (essentially extortionate).
Fortunately I have found and spoken to e-Payday Go who provide a best in class STP compliant web-based app that is still free for employers with 3 or less employees.
For Australian microemployers outraged at now being charged a subscription merely for meeting ATO notification requirements, e-Payday Go is a "must consider" payroll application that has an excellent user interface (unlike the child-like "toy" look and feel of this Payroller mobile app) and is brilliantly supported. There are no reasons whatsoever for microemployers to use and suffer the blatant price-gouging of the Payroller app now.

This app is broken. I’ve downloaded it four times over the past week and it either freezes on the loading screen or had loads the home page and freezes.
I can’t use it.
On top of that I’m stuck in an endless loop of requesting to change my password and the link expiring seconds later. I can’t even use Payroller on desktop. Bugs bugs bugs.

Taken my money twice for the same product
This company has charged me twice and are giving me the run around trying to get the extra payment refunded. Very bad form to charge your customers twice for the same product then just keep fobbing them off. Not what was promised

Buggy mess w/ terrible UX
The user interface appears to have been designed by a toddler with crayons. UI text elements are replete with emojis in lieu of correct grammar. The same text is often non-sensical and in the case of confirmation prompts, can easily induce errors. The app is not time zone aware and will submit erroneous data to the ATO when used outside Australian Eastern Time. Save yourself immense pain and do not use this flaming pile of garbage.

Can’t do a new pay run as it popped up and ask us to pay $159 for subscription. Is the app still free at all?

Highly recommend using this app for STPs.

I was able to obtain my refund and came to a resolution. There’s no way to remove or edit my other review so I updated with this one to 3 stars based on app and product services

Great simple app for business
Like being able to see things when I’m out , but can also do payroll stuff when I’m at my desk with the web version. found it easy to use so far

This is a terrific app. Great customer service. Really helpful when moving workers from casual to part time to full time and vice versa.

The app started off free and slowly the developer is removing free features and forcing you to pay. Don’t like this method. Seems like it was free to lure in customers.

Different between Super and YTD
Hey i use this and its good and easy but in Payslip its show 10$ different between Superannuation and YTD its like
