What's New in SITA eWAS

3.9.4

June 2, 2026

SITA eWAS v3.9.4 release contains the following changes and fixes: - Improves compatibility with iPadOS 26, fixing display issues affecting UI elements such as toggle selectors. - Correction of published date and validity date values for NOTAMs, reflecting the correct values for both fields. - After editing the Flight Plan, Fuel On Board and terrain profile are now hidden in the vertical profile to prevent displaying outdated or inconsistent data, and the toggles are disabled to prevent the information from being shown again. - Other minor UI improvements to ensure consistency and readability across the application (i.e., removing the td tag in runway dimensions…). This version is compatible with iOS26.

Great app but some bugs when used with Magic Keyboard

SITA killed eWAS

Since takeover by SITA, eWAS is slowly decaying, becoming a 2nd zone app, with no major improvements and no bug correction.
-GPS position: we still get this stupid enormous circle instead of a ship symbol « because it shouldn’t be used for navigation purpose », as if we are going to navigate with eWAS. Silly.
-Preferences: eWAS can’t keep my preference settings from one flight to another. And there’s even more dumb: for a Paris-Roma flight for instance, eWAS insists on showing me Pacific and Atlantic Tracks, but in the same time is removes the company’s adequat airfields. How convenient!
-Devices management made more complicated than before. No chance to add/remove a device directly on the associated website. You have to do it on the app.

And not to mention the lack of innovation, like a meteogram for a particular position, of other filters like risks of low visibility, or thunderstorms.

I have to revert to the good old mix of informations between several sources to have a better idea of a weather, which was the aim fo eWAS in the first place: combining several sources into one app for a better understanding and visibility. Too bad SITA is only here to take advantage of the profits generated by eWAS without making any investment on it.
