Issue after the update

Since the last update of the app, every time I open it, a pop-up appears stating that Siteworks2 is available. Even if I choose “Later,” it shows up again the next time I open the app. This is very annoying, especially after I’ve paid for Siteworks1. Please address this issue.

Thank you.

Contact

Good App very very very poor contact. You cannot contact the developer, link is broken on the website plus no email or phone number.

Could do with some improvements and updating but you can’t get hold of developer, very frustrating !!

Finally what I needed!!!

Finally found a construction that can record position on drawings with specific photos and details, perfect for progress reports and snagging

GREAT APP !! SEEKING FOR ICLOUD SHARE BETWEEN DEVICES

This is a great app. Easy to use and great for defect and outstanding works Management in the construction industry. It would be awesome for iCloud sharing between devices as I commence completing the defect inspections on iPad and then would love to carry on or view reports on my iPhone.

Also, noticed that recently that the iPhone and iPad photo quality is not good. I have an iPad Pro and iPhone 12 and the setting on both for SiteWorks is the highest resolution however, the photos taken for observations are clear in the app however when exporting the report to PDF, the photos are not high resolution and are blurry.

Hello Berkut1998, thanks for using SiteWorks. This functionality is part of the new features we are working on to implement in the next major version of the app. Best regards Santiago

I’ve used this app for years

I am an architect and I have used this app for years. The time saved was well worth the $19.99 I paid for it a long time ago. It takes some experimentation on how to best set it up for each users specific need, but it has allowed me to issue punch lists immediately upon leaving my projects sites. Saves me hours of work. Once set up, it is very easy to import new projects. I tend to walk my sites on my own and use Siri on my iPhone to dictate my notes. I then open up the project on my iPad Pro and revise notes as necessary. I have recommended to all I work with.

Hello Robotk75, thank you for being a long time user of the app. We're glad it helps you save time on your punch lists. Best regards

No longer works.

Spend the money for the App, attempted to sync and add across devices as instructed in the documents. Upon “importing” Site Works own Application stated that the configuration file it created on the other device is “no longer supported”. We have attempted to contact the developer with no response. This App should be removed from the App Store as its now unusable and appears to be unsupported.

Great App for snagging

Great tool for recording defects on the job. Easy to use, user friendly and reasonably priced in comparison to a lot of the other apps out there. Perfect for what I need it for.
Would highly recommend to anyone that needs a punch, snag, defect list app.

Great product!

Excellent product, took a bit of getting used to but worth the time!

Great punch list tool.

Something went wrong

The application was operating normal before the update, I really enjoy using this application and have found no better alternatives however after the update the description line on a snag cannot be viewed with any orientation on my tablet. A serious bug which makes using the application frustrating.

Hello MeanMachines, This issue has been addresses in our lastest updates, do you still have this issue? Best regards SiteWorks team

Poor

This is the second time I have downloaded site works and yet again trying at access configuration makes the app crash, as I use this app extensively for work this is very frustrating and without the ability to configure trades makes this virtually useless for my needs. A real shame as when it was working properly it was perfect

Great app

We use this app to do all of our punch lists on our commercial projects. The contractors and owners love the reports with floor plans annotated with the color coded pins. This app has changed how we did punches from the old way of collecting data on hand written notes, a digital camera and then spending hours compiling at the office. Now we generate the info and issue the report from the field within minutes.

Updates are timely and app works very well. Easy to use.

Only wish I have is that I would like to change to a Windows 10 tablet and use this app, but it is not available on that platform. Really this is the only app that I use on my iPad that makes me keep it.

Freezes on iPad

This app is useful, but very unstable on the iPad and always freezes when I'm imputing an observation. The camera feature on it also is unstable and sometimes doesn't function properly. It's also crashes a lot. Please make an update

Crashes

If any one read my previous review please ignore as I was wrong please see below

Ok I had some issues to start but have run this app today on a full site snag. It actually was a pleasure and made doing it so easy.

Dreadful Waste of Money / Appalling customer service

• Won’t export properly.
• No answers to queries - appalling customer service.

DOESN’T WORK PROPERLY
This app promised so much but delivered so little. Appeared to work well at first but refused to export the report in any of the formats listed meaning a very frustrating end to two solid days of inputting information. It always crashes upon exporting (new iPad air fully updated). It has never allowed me to export with a cover page and only after numerous attempts randomly changing some of the export configurations will it maybe export a copy (sometimes A4, sometimes US letter, sometimes portrait and other times landscape). There is no apparent logic to why any particular preference might cause it to work or not.

NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Worse than all of that however is the complete absence of any customer support. There is ‘chat’ icon on their website which, regardless of the time of day (US / European etc) I try is always ‘away’. It permits one to enter a question with the promise that the query will be answered ‘soon’ but is never answered (it is now nearly 3 weeks). It may be that the above technical issues are teething problems for a new version but not answering queries is unforgivable.

SUMMARY
This is worse than a waste of money because it has cost me so much of my time already and I resent even being forced to leave this review to hopefully save some others considering purchasing it. Don’t do it.
Shame on Nutes.

Worth it.

A great, simple, and easy to use app that is well worth the cost if you need a punch list tool to assist you on the job. Overall, a great investment!

Further to my review in 2012. This app gets better and better. Impressed by my reports I now have several colleagues who are Architects, Engineers and Project managers in the UK and Ireland who use the App constantly.

I have one comment.

Is it possible on the next update to provide a means of sizing the pin in the PDF report manually (similar to the photograph). I find that either the pin is too large or too small depending on the size of the PDF drawing imported

Not fit for purpose

App looked great. Unfortunately it cashes every time I try and open a PDF plan! I even tried converting PDFs into JPEGs but this still happened when I imported them. I have a new ipad and iPhone 5 and I had the same problem on both. Do NOT buy this software until this issue is resolved.

Not very impressive for such an expensive app. How do I get a refund?

Time Saver

I purchased this app to test out on one of my many construction observation trips. I really like it. I can keep my plans on my iPad and this ap and it reduces the need to bring plans, note pad, pens, camera... I have showed it to all the contractors that I have worked with since I got it and they have been really excited about how fast I am able to export the report with photos and locations for each comment that I took note of.

There are a few items I wish I was able to customize on the reporting level. It would be nice if it could be exported into word so I could edit some of the formatting and remove some of the extra spacing in lines and keep the observation information with the photos instead of getting separated on different sheets.

Fantastic...just what I needed

This app comes close to meeting all my punch list needs. It allows for easy markup of a plan with observations, color coded by building trade, and sorted by subcontractor (stakeholder) within an easy to generate report. Also the app works on both iPad as well as iPhone, which for those of us that don't lug around our iPads all the time is a real help. Also, most of the other apps use some sort of cloud sharing scheme, causing an ongoing expense to use the service, with sites, you just save it to Dropbox and share/load it onto any other device, besides, since when do you need to collaborate on a punch list?...create it>send it to those concerned>follow up...I do have a few enhancement suggestions which I hope they'll consider including in a future update:

1. Allow full modification of the default building trades so as to reduce clutter within the app.
2. Enhance the reports with more formatting customization.
3. Adopt a larger color palette to enhance the ability to differentiate between stakeholders on the marked up plan.
4. Add a general notes and/or meeting minutes page so any discussions can be included in the report.
5. Make it easier to mark observations as complete (a simple tap on the observation in list/modify mode)
6. Why do I get notifications an observation has reached it's completion deadline if it has already been marked complete?
7. Fix the multiple page import...Every time I attempt to import multiple pages, they come in blank.
8. When the app loads, it should have the option to open to the site/page you last worked on and/or the sites browser, rather than the big gray screen.(just to save a few clicks)

I sincerely hope they'll consider these suggestions, and look forward to using this app for many projects.

Thanks, Peter
