Grea concept, poorly executed
My daughter loved the movie and was excited to play the app, we don’t use tech at home or apps as it is for her, so I was keen for this. After uploading a photo of her drawing, finding out we had to pay for credits, $9.99, then we’ve been waiting over an hour for the animation to load. Disappointing, and nothing that your regular AI software can’t already do for free. Also why make us watch so many trailers? That’s weird

For the one free one you get you still have to pay to make it change stances and to make a video. It’s all also so,so expensive. Hate it.
False Advertising
I subscribe to the premium angel guide package and we finally got to watch sketch and my kids were so excited about the app which follows the movie credits and drew monsters just to find out it costs a ton of money to actually bring them to life, and brought them to tears and I think subscribers should get free access and I’m extremely disappointed in angel studios.

I love to make the monsters, and in order to make them you need monsters credits. I have watched all the trailers to make more but when I finished all the trailers…they didn’t give me credits… I couldn’t make more monsters because I didn’t have enough credits. I know I could buy some but I don’t want to spend money. What I’m asking is a way to get free credits that you can use everyday, like a daily reward. Please?

So I downloaded this thing a while ago and I whent to go use it again and I have 41 points so I go to watch the add thingy and I watched three of them so I thot I was lagging so I re joined but you have to wait like three months to get more points this is stupid would not recommend

This game is kinda a scam, but otherwise it’s great! You need credits to make monsters. So I only have 1 monster. You basically can’t do anything without credits except look at and like other peoples monsters. So other than the credits, the game is good.

I downloaded it and i started off with 96 credits then it went down to 36. I needed more to make an other monster. It says you can watch the trailers to earn credits but i got none. The only way to get credits is to buy. I got to make 1 monster. Rubbish

No physical 3D models!
My kids were loving this app, but they were really let down by it. After a drawing is uploaded, they give an option that states “Generate a 3D model to download or ship it right to your door!”. The kids were so excited for this, so I paid money to have the 3d models created and shipped. HOWEVER, after the 3d models are created, there are no options to have them physically sent to you. There is no info, and the “Help & Support” only takes you to the Angel website that has nothing to do with their Sketch app. How do we receive the 3d models that we paid for and are offered to be “shipped right to my door”??

Your fourth to create an account. Once you’re in, you don’t have enough credit to make even a single get monster. This is very sketchy indeed. If you want more credits, you have to pay real dollars. Sketchy sketchy sketchy.

I could only make one still image of a drawing before I had to pay for credits. I was just trying the app out now my daughter can’t use the app at all. Paywalls make people sad.

It’s a scam do not buy the subscription it’s all a scam for money they lied about the get your monster in the credits the movie was aready done before this was made there for this is a complete scam

This all is a cool idea but watched this movie as a family and our 3 kids immediately ran to draw monsters… we could only transform one without making a purchase?? Thought watching trailers would give more credits but it didn’t. Totally disappointed.
