Missing ONE day RESETS all progress

This is not how life works. Missing ONE day does not put you back to square one! Infuriating.

Response from developer

Hey, I am assuming you lost your streak. The rules for activity streak are exactly like this, you miss one day and you lost the streak, however we sent several notifications and you can also get bandaid to protect your streak. The streak is not important for learning tricks and levelling up your skill, it is just fun statistics number. All the best and keep playing - Vashek K.

Too overwhelming :(

I know this makes me sound like it’s a skill issue for me, they made the tricks look easy and didn’t have extra technology to be accessible for worse yo-yos.

Good App but sometimes not good users…

First of all, I wanna say that the team that develops this app are phenomenal. The videos are all high-quality that are done by them and I couldn’t give the developers more respect.

However, the community at times can be a little hypocritical and what I mean is that sometimes you will land a trick and every single fundamental element of that trick will be correct but just because you dismounted a different way than the tutorial video the community will be quick to market as incorrect…

So the app itself is pretty good and you can learn a lot of great tricks from the videos, but sometimes the community can be a little discouraging for beginners.

Response from developer

Hi Destroyer, thank you for your nice feedback about, we are glad that you are happy with the team and features of the app. I am sorry you met some strict judges, we observe that some users are more strict and some are more easy. However, in majority of the cases they mean it in a good way and are just trying to avoid others learning basics incorrectly which leads to much slower progress in the future. If run into the similar problem in the future report the video or contact us at info@skilladdicts.com, we will fix it for you. Also we are adding more tips/mistakes/requirements to the tricks so the judging will be more clear for everyone. All the best - Vashek

Great concept but...

The app has two problems. 1-users can vote to approve a submitted trick or not but they don't give feedback on what's right or wrong so it's hard to know what to correct. 2- Rude users. Maybe it's the nature of the community but the "experts" are largely kids who have no idea how rude they're being. I initially got excited about this but the community turned me off and I deleted my acid and app.

Hello, thanks for your review. We are sorry to hear that you had bad experience, the logic is simple, you can only judge the trick if you have completed it. So the person who is evaluating the tricks has to know it well. Some people leave feedback, some do not. There is chat section, where you can ask in case you do not know what was done wrong and there is always users happy to help and explain. We do not see anything wrong about kids, this app was created to motivate people to improve their offline skills so we are happy to see that kids are using their phones to learn things offline. We have team of admins who moderate the interactions, in case someone was rude to you, you can report the comment and it is taken care of within seconds, or minutes max. -Vashek K.

Good app although some people are too eager to not approve

This is a good app with a vast amount of tricks and easy to follow tutorials to learn them. That being said sometimes when you submit a trick people will not approve your submission or tell you why. That or it could be something vague like “trick was missed” which for the person gives them nothing to improve on. More constructive criticism would be better but that’s about it for the flaws.
