YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR RECIPES. WASTE OF TIME

Rubbish app complete false advertising. No mention of payment at all!

Not worth the money

I downloaded this app because it looked perfect for I’m trying to accomplish in my new diet only the find out that you have to pay for it. You. Any even look around in the app before purchasing it. I have no idea if it’s even worth my money if I can’t see it beforehand.

We're sorry to hear that you’re having a bad experience with our app. Your feedback is important to us and has been noted. We do have a Free Trial, with the Monthly subscription, not the annual. So if you chose the annual, you get a super good discount, but no free trial. You can always try it with the monthly to get the free trial and switch over if you want to keep it to get the cheaper subscription (Annual), and if you don't want to keep it, you simply cancel before the free 7 days are up to avoid being charged. Any questions - email me: Kelly@healthyhappysmart.com

No prompt to log into my account

I have the app I pay the monthly fee. Been paying for a long time. Every time I open the app or go to the website there is no place to sign in. I am very frustrated paying money but no way to sign in!,,!!!

Hello joinbugged, Thanks for reaching out with feedback, however, it's not completely true feedback so I'd like to kindly address it. As for the download process: Before you download, we mention in the appstore description that you will be given the option to "Subscribe" for a free 7-day trial to try the app out to see if it's a good fit for you. If you find value in the app, you can stay subscribed for $9.99 USD/mo. Alternatively, you can choose to cancel anytime during those free 7 days to avoid being charged. How to cancel? - You have to cancel in your Apple Appstore settings. This is because you got the app in the appstore (and by the way, this is the case for ALL app subscriptions in the appstore), and we have no control over the cancellation process laid out by Apple. Here is how you cancel: You go to your appstore settings, find your "Subscriptions", then find this one and cancel it there. I would be so grateful if you would consider changing your review/rating since these claims are simply untrue of our app. Thanks for your time.

Don’t do it!!

Downloaded the app and can’t even get passed the weight part. Thankfully I have in app purchases turned off because immediately it starts trying to process a payment. Not worth the time. Was hoping to find a nice meal plan but I can get free ones online.

Hello - thank you for reaching out with your feedback. However, I'd like to clarify something you mistakingly said about our app subscription. You do NOT have to pay anything up front. We first provide a 7-day trial to try the app out and see if you like it (COMPLETELY FREE). During this time you can decide if you find value in the app and if it will work for your lifestyle, and you have the option to cancel before the trial is up to avoid being charged anything at all. We clearly mention this pricing structure in the appstore description (You see this before even downloading the app). Please consider changing the rating you left us. We put too much hard work into design and development for this app, that's why we have a monthly fee for it. Plus, each week we create a new balanced meal plan. It's a lot of work to give away for free... sorry you don't find value in it. Because we are so transparent, we hope you'd consider changing your rating. Thanks for your time.

Nice idea, but that pricing plan..

Okay, I understand that the developers want to make some money, and most of their recipes look really good! It's also pretty great that they seem interested in feedback and update the app frequently.
In my opinion, though, locking half of the recipes unless you buy a subscription plan when I can probably find similar on the web just isn't kind. A better idea is to keep the subscriptions to those who want a more personalized service, and let people pay a one-time "premium app" fee to access all the recipes.
We're on a tight budget after Christmas, and are already paying money to WW, so adding another subscription plan seems excessive.

Hello cmdunn1972, Thank you for your feedback. Since you wrote this, our subscription model has changed. We now offer a free 7 day trial to try out the app to see if you find value in it and if it fits what you need as a weekly meal plan. We give you everything in the app during this 7 days. If you decide you find value - then great! It auto-renews until you cancel. If during the 7 days you find that you don't want the meal plans for one reason or another - simply cancel to avoid being charged. Again, I appreciate you reaching out with good feedback. And I understand not wanting to pay for multiple subscriptions. Best wishes to you!

So far so good

I think this will help a lot! I always struggle with eating healthy!

Bad

Downloaded app and it has 20-25 recipes but only about 5 unlocked. Don't waste your time.

Hello Prettychicka, Thank you for your feedback. Since you wrote this, our subscription model has changed. We now offer a free 7 day trial to try out the app to see if you find value in it and if it fits what you need as a weekly meal plan. We give you everything in the app during this 7 days including a meal plan for the current week + upcoming week + 100's of additional recipes to swap recipes with. If during the 7 days you decide you find value - then great! It auto-renews until you cancel. On the other hand, if you find that you don't want to keep the meal plans - simply cancel to avoid being charged.
