Map is good because the in-person piste maps don’t have the names of the restaurants, so you have to use this app map to find out the name of the restaurant and look at the in-person map for the number. Quite confusing but the app helps

Amazing app for the best place on planet earth.
It shows you everything you need to know about the SkiStar places and has helped a lot with all the maps of the slopes it provides. Also get the ski 360 that has the same logo though for better and more advanced maps!

Useful but broken app
I used to think this was a great app but this season it has been downgraded. It doesn’t update properly so tracking your skiing does not work properly. It often displays different answers for height skied depending on which bit of the app you look at. For months it wouldn’t show the resort rankings and it no longer appears to show your position in the table on real time taking away the pleasure of seeing how you are progressing relative to others during the day on the slopes

mostly broken after March 2025 update
Worked fine a month ago, but after the most recent update, the app frequently shows blank pages (fx profile) and the booking page never gets past the progress circle. the "new technology" touted in the release notes seems to have some fundamental issues.

Great for webcams, map and all the info you need. Updates on lift opening or if a lift is closed for a while. Essential if you are in a skistar resort!!
Essential when at Åre
The skistar app is essential usage when at their resorts. From lift status to purchasing lift tickets, accommodation details once you`ve booked. Weather. Buss timetables. And of course the skistar game with vertical, runs, pins…. What`s not to like?
