Calendar
As many calendars as we have in the house. Having to update each one is a royal pain in the butt. So it was easy for me to decide on the calendar because you enter info on your phone and shows up on the calendar and vice versa. Life is so much better.
Finally in sync with a shared calendar!
Appointments and events are easier to plan when we each know what the other’s commitments are with a quick glance at our photo frame/calendar combo on the kitchen counter. Easy to use, easy to edit. A small purchase with a big daily management impact.
Just OK
The calendar is quite annoying to and not easily synchronized. The app shows no event while the Skylight Calendar gives an error on the event. It’s been frustrating to deal with and happens often.
The frame is pretty good though as far as digital frames go.

Helps my kids know what to expect
We have been using Skylight for two years. I have it at a level where my 10 and 13 year-old see it regularly and can interact with the calendar tasks and rewards
My two favorite things are the photos that I can upload both to mine and the one I got for my parents and the NEW update that allows me to put chores up for grabs with extra points so I can just list all the things that need to be done

Mixed Feelings
Awesome app. Talk-to-text would be so much faster and more helpful. It really sucks trying to connect to the iPhone calendar. I’ve never been successful even with tech support

Best merged calendar I have used
Love having the pictures streamed in my kitchen. Keeps appointments and tasks connected at home, phone, tablet and computer. I have not yet figured out how to connect Skylight and Alexa. That would make it perfect.
Uploading photos always crashes
Incredibly irritating. You used to be able to upload a lot of photos at once, but that would crash it. They must have seen that and then limited to only 20. Annoying, but can get around that with patience, right? Wrong. After the first upload of 20 after the photos are there, now it says I need to give it permission to my photo library (even though it has full permissions). Please please fix this terrible experience. Takes all the fun of this frame away every time I have to upload photos to it.

Frustrating App
The app constantly has glitches. I cannot adjust my privacy settings in the app. I have tried everything suggested on the Skylight website to fix the issue, but nothing has worked. The app a few versions ago was so much better. The organization of the app is not intuitive. If I could give the app a grade, then it would be a “D.”

Peak Organization
With 5 kids, this calendar was just what we needed. I keep track of everyone’s individual activities and appointments, as well as my own and my husband’s. We use the tasks function for chores and routines, and the kids like to see the visual of completing their tasks. I’m also using the meals function to plan dinners. I love how I can take a picture or upload a calendar and it automatically syncs to our skylight. It’s accurate and saves me so much time!

One wish!
I love our skylight. Friends and family love watching it when they visit. However!!! I wish it had ONE more feature. We bought this to replace our wall calendar so we could have a shared calendar on the go. BUT I hate how if you have the picture slideshow going, you never see the calendar. This would be the most perfect product if you could have settings that would show the calendar view (or the new Home Screen) in between a number of photos. Example: settings would be show calendar after every 5/10/15/20 pictures. I NEVER see our calendar now because it’s always on the slideshow. And I don’t want to have to always manually come over to see it. Please please consider this update!

Buggy- still working on basic features
I love the concept of Skylight, but so far, the execution is lacking. The app is very buggy, and some basic functions and features are not available. The developers should focus on fixing the existing bugs before incorporating brand new features.
