Signed up but hadn’t been able to get an appointment yet. Then I start receiving emails with other patients conversations and information. Turns out someone in their office cc’d 270+ patients on replies to current patients.
This app has changed
Doctors can now only treat one skin condition per appointment. I’ve been using this app for years now for psoriasis and acne. Was always able to see my doctor for both problems but then left. Now I get a doctor who says one thing to me and the appointment was over and I have to make a new appointment for acne now. I can no longer use this app anymore.

Charge a lot and won’t answer questions
I explained to my initial intake that I have eczema that I had some other things going on and etc. when I had some foul questions about it they said it wasn’t what I initially was there therefore and I had to do it a separate appointment after $314 yeah I know I wouldn’t do this again

Dr. Wright was super awesome and extensively thorough with the evaluation/education required for my visit. Also, gave recommendations also, thoroughly explained. 11/10 recommend!
Dr. Peppercorn Visit
Dr. Peppercorn is very thorough in explaining his diagnosis in detail. He also goes over whatever meds he prescribes from application to side effects. He’s very passionate about his work and cares about healing his patients. Besides his expertise he projects as being a very good person. I would highly recommend him. The entire online experience has been excellent!

Fast help!
I had gotten a burn on my nose that became infected. After an urgent care in person appointment they said if it didn’t heal to go to a dermatologist bc it was a bad burn/infection. After 7 days of antibiotics it was doing better, but not healed. I couldn’t get a dermatology appointment anywhere near me and decided to try online bc I didn’t want the infection to take off again. SkyMD was so easy. I explained my problem, took a couple pictures and in less than 24 hours I had a prescription waiting for me at my pharmacy. I worked recommend SkyMD for sure.

My local dermatologist couldn’t get my son in for weeks. Found this option and it’s a life changer! Filled out a questionnaire and sent in photos - had a diagnosis and a prescription within 24 hours! I recently used the service for myself as well. Can’t recommend SkyMD highly enough! They were not in network with my insurance but I used my HSA. It was well worth it.

Wonderful Resource
Fiona Rahbar and her staff are wonderful. I have struggled with painful, persistent cystic acne for 20 years now and have tried every possible medication, topical, etc with no fix. I started using SkyMD about 6 months ago and have had a dramatic decrease in my cystic acne. I have an appointment monthly where Fiona evaluates every part of me through telehealth and then sends a prescription in. I feel like I get a more thorough evaluation here than I would in a medical office. When my appointment day comes, I am able to answer the medical questions and submit pictures as I am available through the day; there is no set appointment time that I have to take off work to attend. She and her staff answer my questions and address my concerns throughout the month, well after my appointment has concluded. They are all very kind and professional. I am thankful for this service and am finally hopeful that I will be free from acne very soon!

SkyMD app and Dr.
I have found this to be the best telehealth app out there. Dr. Peppercorn takes his time and listens with patience and understanding. Please don’t change the app!:) it allows for great communication between patients and doctors. Easy to use and pleasant platform.

Used app for a melasma flare up after a Florida trip. Service was EXCELLENT!! It was so quick and easy, but very thorough. They also accepted my insurance. I originally submitted photos with my issue and Dr. Smolinski contacted me with follow up questions and requested before photos for reference and to thoroughly review. Once diagnosed, a treatment plan was offered with options that would help and be cost effective.

Charged $300 More Than Stated
SkyMD prompts you to enter your insurance information to see if your visit with their provider is covered by your insurance. I did this and was told by their team that my visit would not be covered - instead, I opted to pay for the visit out of pocket ($99). I’ve just received mail from my insurance detailing a $300 charge that I must pay, none of which they will cover. It seems that SkyMD billed my insurance knowing that they would not be able to cover it, and after I had elected to pay the $99 out of pocket as they required in their app. From looking at other reviews this doesn’t seem to be a standalone issue! I’d definitely keep in mind SkyMD’s history of this predatory practice before using their service and would recommend making sure that you’re either covered by your insurance or don’t enter your insurance information whatsoever.

Great App. Great diagnosis. Great Dr!
I had atopic dermatitis. Dr Peppercorn reviewed my pics and was fast and accurate and very descriptive. Hands have healed up as he described in the right timeline. Highly recommend

Waiting for a dermatology referral was not something I could do. I had the worst perioral dermatitis flare I’ve ever experienced, and Dr. Beckford was able to evaluate my concerns, give a treatment plan, and answer my questions all within a couple hours. Not to mention this was totally affordable for an out of pocket urgent expense. I highly recommend this app. Dr. Beckford has a ton of great experience and she knew exactly how to treat my issue. I can say I’m completely healed now and if I need any dermatology help in the future- I’ll be back to use SkyMD.

Quick & easy!
I was unable to get into my dermatologist for 4 weeks but needed to see one sooner due to a scalp condition. I filled out the questionnaire & sent pictures, and I had a treatment plan within just a few hours. I’ve used Virtuwell before, this is another great option that takes many insurance plans!
