Not Intuitive and Difficult to Search
While Slack is a solidly performing instant messaging app, the usability leaves a lot to be desired. Search results rarely include what I’m looking for there’s no ability to rename/display name a channel something more intuitive. And the app send a separate notification for the same post that has been dropped i to multiple channels. These are some features that could make the app easier to use and improve user focus and productivity.

Slack is constantly evolving to match customer needs. I couldn’t imagine my job today without it. Automations, integrations and an exemplary native UI. 10/10

Needs to find ways to hold all messages other than when DND or Vaca os activated. Love that email is mostly in the past but being instant messaging now people expect instant responses and all structure to priority and focus are broken down

Slow, mismatch between mobile and laptop
Fix disappearing status on iOS
There’s a ~4 second window to enter in Slack status on your profile (as you might do when OOTO). It clears out the text every few seconds. It’s nearly impossible to change my status on iOS.

Couldn't manage day to day without slack so thanks for continued improvement to workflows and integrations.
Few suggestions for improvement:
1. Notifications about unread messages are not consistent.
2. It's very hard to search messages.
3. The limit of 9 person per message is restrictive. Adding too many tmp rooms makes it hard to manage rooms.

The BEST
Slack is the best App ever.
Can’t Type in Landscape
Dropping a star from my July review because you still can’t type in landscape. I avoid the phone app whenever possible and wait to use a computer. That said, Slack has matured and improved since July.

This app creates so much fake work and massively needs innovation to help workers deal with the amount of inbound content coming their way. Slack was fine in a small company, but at scale, it’s hot garbage.
