About

SlateOS turns an iPhone into a fully controllable prop phone for film and television. Everything the camera sees is scripted. You drive it from a web console on a laptop, tablet or second phone: trigger an incoming text on the director's cue, ring a call on action, and reset the whole scene between takes with one button. WHAT YOU CONTROL • Text conversations — full threads, delivered and read receipts, typing indicators • Incoming and outgoing calls, with caller photos and full-screen contact backgrounds • A working keypad — the actor dials any number and places a call for real • Lock screen, PIN entry, home screen, notification banners • Call duration — start a call already 34 minutes in, if that's what the scene needs • Ringtones, vibration and far-side dialogue played from your own audio files BUILT FOR SET • No internet required. Run the console on a laptop over your own network while the phone stays in airplane mode. • Frozen status bar — time, battery and signal stay identical across every take. • One-tap scene reset between takes. • Timed events — a message can land at 23:12:03 exactly. • Scripted typing — whatever the actor types, the written line is what appears and sends. • Backup device support — a second phone mirrors the hero at all times. CONTENT YOU CONTROL Conversations, contacts, photos, wallpapers and ringtones all live in your own database. Change a line the night before a shoot day and it is on the device instantly — no reinstall, no app update, no waiting on review. SlateOS is built by people who work on sets, for props masters, art departments, playback operators and directors who need the phone in frame to behave exactly like a real one — on cue, every take.
