Can’t download
It is only as good as your ability to download it. Not.
It’s ok I guess
It’s ok I guess but I highly suggest adding light rem and deep sleep recording I also suggest adding smart alarms that wake you up when your in your lightest sleep so you feel more refreshed in the morning
Not impressed with this app
I was super excited to get my Apple Watch. I had a Fitbit versa that I loved but I wanted an Apple Watch after a few years with the versa. The sleep app is absolutely horrendous, it is less than basic and does not give accurate readings. Versa would say what time you fell asleep, how long you were asleep, in REM sleep, restlessness.
Please Apple, vamp this app up as it’s really not great.

Love the idea but needs to be able to track naps
No nap tracking really is a problem since I’m such a bad sleeper. Like 3-4 hours of sleep a night not counting naps in the day for maybe an hour or so. Would like that feature.
Also wouldn’t mind a “are you in bed yet ask” and a “are you up already” if you’re active outside your set window but it’s close to the end time. So cool but needs improvement

Wish for Easier Use
I’m having to enter an “In Bed” manually, with start & stop having same times, just so I know when I laid down in the bed. Otherwise, I have to remember when I did and put it in later. Wish there was a button to use that I could tap when I get into bed and again when I get out of bed, to input my start/stop for bed.
I miss SleepBot.

Why doesn’t have different stage analysis?
Been using Fitbit for years, happy to have the budget to upgrade an Apple Watch. Excited when the sleep app came out, but, WHY? Why can’t you guys just include the analysis?
YOU CANT DOWNLOAD
Please fix this Apple
Broken in watch os 8
Used to be amazing. In watchOS 8, the alarm is not reliable and when it does trigger, it is a different much more subtle alarm that doesn’t wake you as well. Also is less reliable at keeping the screen off at night. It got thrown in with focus modes and so now it’s quite hard to activate.
Wish it would work with family sharing.
Wish it would work with family sharing. The frustrating thing is it DOES they just won’t let you use it. Apple really doesent have a good excuse as to why the sleep app won’t work on child’s apple watches set up with standalone numbers on family sharing. This would be an amazing feature. I know it because somehow it worked on one of my kids watches but not the other ones. When I contacted apple I got “your SOL because it shouldn’t work at all on either.” Come on apple! Make this available on the watches set up with family sharing.

Support for segmented sleep please
I would appreciate support for segmented sleep.
So dumb
Cannot even find it in the appstore in the apple watch. You have to send link via iphone to apple watch in order to download again. It’s been like a year and hasnt even fixed.
Lacking in MANY areas
Apple fails on this 👎🏻 MAJOR
You MUST set a sleep schedule 👎🏻 Not everyone has a steady time for sleep
It doesn't track naps 👎🏻 There are those of us who need a snooze during the day
Nothing about connection to HR or breathing 👎🏻 Apple has these features on the watch but fails to bring them to sleep?
No way to just track sleep on our own now 👎🏻This messes with Health & other sleep apps significantly. It makes tracking sleep a pain in comparison to other devices.
Apple has a LOT of work to do to get this near its competitors

Amateurish fluff
Designed to Sherlock real sleep apps
Sleep data not accurate
Compared to the Fitbit app and device the Apple Watch and sleep app don’t accurately track sleep.
Happy with the minutiae, but features missing
Was really excited when Apple Watch officially began supporting sleep tracking! I enjoy having a focus mode for sleep, that it turns off the screen and notifications and sets a sleep state.
With that said it feels like more could be added. Right now the watch cannot successfully detect when I’m actually falling asleep or waking up, rather it seems to mark the moment I’m in bed as I am asleep and the moment my alarm goes off as I am awake. This makes the data not terribly useful, and the “you met your sleep goal” feel not particularly accurate.
Would love to have a separate sleep app, maybe with a link to the mindfulness app, to help someone a) get ready for bed, and b) to tune the sleep algorithm to individual experience.
Finally, the sleep schedule still does not work for shift workers. We really need a way for our watch to not suddenly say I’m supposed to be asleep when I’m still at work… that is just sad and reminds me we are not at home with our loved ones.

Pretty basic
Not very useful to be honest. Had to download sleep watch… app developers…. Take a look at whoop and do that
Pretty inaccurate
I had a Fitbit about eight years ago that was a lot more accurate at tracking sleep. I could literally be tossing and turning for an hour or two and my Apple Watch would think I was sleeping.
Low detail
The details gathered and shared do not come close to 3rd party offerings on the App Store. Pointless apple investing time in this app
Pas très flexible
Si on a mit le réveil pour 8h30, et qu’on dort jusqu’à 9h30, l’application ne voudra pas noter après 8h30… c’est dommage.
Just use Auto Sleep instead
This doesn’t provide any useful sleep metrics like other sleep trackers do, and even Auto Sleep that runs on the watch is far better in the detail and insights it provides.
