Was bidding on an item as the timer was getting lower and then someone else decided to bid so they added more time for me to make a higher bid which I was

I live by the warehouse and almost everything I’ve won doesn’t work or has missing pieces. Half a desk, walking pads with no remote - it’s a gamble on this but it’s also ridiculous that these things are even sold when they aren’t functional at all.
Good app high shipping
I often get some good items. Sometimes broke things that don’t work, and other times brand new things that are great. Only downfall is the shipping prices.

I want some great items, but my skepticism which prevents me from bidding sometimes is the expensive shipping shipping cost is two and three Times the normal cost of shipping. Sometimes I win an item for $10 but the shipping is $31. When I searched the item on other platforms, sometimes I may have spent than what I could’ve got that item from other places. But I like this platform because the items and you can really get a good deal often times.

Wanted to love it.
My 2nd time bidding on here and I majorly messed up not seeing that one of the items did not have a set shipping cost, but to request. The shipping cost for the same product, quantity & weight was $20 and the other $267 bucks. Option to “ask question” must be for show cause it does nothing. Not on the app or the web site. If it’s shipping out from the same place why is one $20 and the other 267? W/ no way to talk to anyone on the matter guess my account will become deactivated for non payment. When having read a lot of reviews, I see a lot of claims that ppl don’t get products, and that products aren’t actually tested. So closed my account shall be. The lack of customer support to be found isn’t helping the claims either. Love the idea of the app. Like it better than eBay even. As pricing starts out better than eBay seems to be nowadays. Items go for impeccable pricing often. I will say I’m inclined to believe a bit of botting could be happening when it comes to bidding. How else could it be, no matter what I’m bidding, what appears to be the same user on multiple items continues to immediately outbid the second I’ve bid. Not even for a second does it say I’m the highest bidder. I’d guess it’s their way to get their bottom dollar they’d want for the products. As well. Starting bid pricing I’ve witness changed, was $1, say within the final 8-6 hrs & no one has bid yet on it, the starting price is $3. Closer it becomes to end w/no bid that starting price may be $5. Which kind of confirms my theory of bot bidding to achieve bottom dollar they want for an item. But I’ve also seen no bids happen and starting stay at $1 and ppl win bins for $1-$2 on items as well. They do have an option for anyone to sell w/them. so maybe some bot some don’t? Something was fishy with it fo sho. But I don’t now definitely so. Just observations I’ve made.

We ♥️ LOVE SliBuy!
I’m not sure why they have all these negative reviews. If you read your rules and contract when you sign up, you get exactly what’s laid out in the rules. I feel like a group of people got together to trash and ruin the companies’ reputation online perhaps to keep them bidding low? 🤷♀️
We have been buying from them for the last year and we love it. I love getting a great deal and we are getting some high end items that we would never purchase otherwise. But for the prices, you cannot beat it.
You also get what you get if you go in as a rude customer expecting brand new everything to work perfect this isn’t Walmart a lot of it is items that have been returned or overstock items they guarantee their factory sealed items with a credit on your account if you buy appears new or used then you are taking a chance but that’s what happens when you are getting it for a 10th of the price of retail if that.
It took a minute to figure everything out, but once we understood the rules with Help from their online customer service email, it’s easy to understand now.
The Customer Service team is wonderful as long as you were nice to them. Going back to the get what you give. I’ve worked in Customer Service for many years now retired. People in the reviews act as if this is a retail store. If you went to a real estate auction, you couldn’t come back later with something you bought throwing a fit that it doesn’t work nine times out of 10. You are getting an awesome deal.
This is the perfect local site for people that resell as well as random people like me that are using it to purchase personal items or gifts for loved ones.
Just had to do my part and come on here and give these people a little love ♥️ after I seen all the horrible reviews that at first scared me away, but so happy that I took a chance on them and tried it
When you do deal with Customer Service, the ladies behind the window are busy, but very nice. I don’t know their names, but there is Dee and Maria via their customer service email. They are super sweet and very helpful. They explain the rules and tell how it all works for the newbies.
No one’s perfect of course there will be mistakes made, but with giving grace and asking questions you will find they are normal people like us not out there trying to rip anyone off you’re getting awesome deals. It’s hard to find good employees nowadays and they are short on Help like everyone else is right now.
And the dig store 🤯 didn’t even talk about that, but you will love it when you go to pick up your merchandise won certain days you will find better items by Thursday. Everything is picked through, but it is 10 for a dollar.

I’ve won so many items on SliBuy at such great prices! I won a brand new Keurig for $1 and another for $13! I won a bathroom light fixture, a floor lamp, balance beams, workout equipment, and so much more! My favorite is a bird feeder with camera for $30! Everything has worked perfectly. I’ve also gone in and bought items on-site. What I like is that if you want to purchase an electrical item (such as the mini fridge I purchased), they have a bunch of outlets you can use to test the items to make sure they work.
I’ve had to reschedule pick-ups via email, and they’ve gotten back to me within a reasonable time frame. I’ve called and have been helped with no problems.
I highly recommend SliBuy. Just remember that it’s an auction site. If you don’t win, you don’t win. That said, it’s not a scam like DealDash where you bid on stuff and if you don’t win, you still don’t get your money back. They keep it. Or at least that’s how it used to be.

I recently purchased multiple items. One item was marked for pre-k for my pre-k son. Them item given was for 3rd grade and was told that’s what I had won. When all pictures had shown the item was for pre-k. Refused to give me the correct item then finally I was told I would receive a refund and nothing. Also purchase a bulletin board. When I was picking it up I was told they don’t know where it was and marked it nil on a paper was told I would receive a refund and still nothing. So I paid them for an item that didn’t exist. The final straw was I won a 20x10 pop up canopy. My wife had picked it up and didn’t think to check the box to make sure it was in there. Opened the box and it was a bunch of metal tubing. Sent support picture and everything and guess what I was told I would receive a refund and no refund. This was back in September. Buyer beware this company is a bunch of scammers.

It used to be real good, then too many people got into it, and they changed the way auctions end, adding minutes at the end of an auction, no breaks for shipping. I’m done. 10 year customer out.

Expensive Air Mattress Serta EZ Raised Foldable Portable Air worth $399 on Amazon for $17. Along with plenty of other things. You can also go into the warehouse and purchase things too.

They make you pay to reactivate your account
I had been a long time lurker on the app but finally started placing bids recently. Unfortunately a medical emergency happened in my life during one of the same days I placed some bids, I guess I won a bid and didn’t realize because at the time I was in the hospital dealing with my own personal health issues. I was not able to pay for obvious reasons but did have the intent to, I was not expecting anything to happen to me. A few days later, still in the hospital, I see that not only has SliBuy banned my account but it costs 25$ to reactivate it. I’ve never seen any like this before. I understand it’s a hassle dealing with people bidding and not paying, but on other bidding sites/apps they usually temporarily/permanently ban you or give you a certain amount of strikes until you get banned, however they don’t request payment. The UI of the app is horrible also. I couldn’t even make an account when I first started using the app because it said that I reached my limit on pressing buttons? The limit was 5. What does that even mean. Cool concept but shady and scummy stuff happening. Glad I’m banned.

This app is a scam! Do not auction or purchase anything!
A friend of mine recommended this site to get items for low prices. I won an auction for a Craftsman Leaf Blower. (Supposedly new.) what I received was missing parts. It also would not power on or work no matter what I tried. I tried to get a refund but was astonished to find out that SliBuy under no circumstances provides refunds. It’s up to the buyer to find out if the item is working and inspect the item for all parts prior to purchasing which is impossible when you are ordering from another state and having something shipped via UPS or Fedex. I can not drive from Texas to Illinois to inspect a $25 leaf blower. This app and these sellers are scammers. You can not report or review sellers and there is absolutely no accountability for sellers who scam customers . Do not waste your money like I did ! Run away!

I just picked up my first items that were all listed as “New”. I expected them to be open box returns, but not actually showing signs of previous use. Missing parts on several items such as the interior part of an air fryer and a “new” bassinet that was completely covered with cat hair.
